Staying at Astar Hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were spotlessly clean and quiet, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation. While there aren’t many shops nearby, it’s just a 20-minute ride to the Shilla Duty-Free area if you’re looking to shop or explore. The hotel is conveniently located near a cozy Korean-style fast food spot—something like Yong... whatever it's called—and their food was surprisingly tasty. I also loved the nearby Ruby Ice Cream shop; their ice cream was creamy and refreshing. Breakfast was a highlight too—the fish dish stood out with its fresh flavor and excellent quality. Overall, the atmosphere of the hotel felt peaceful and well-maintained. And yes, Jeju Island truly lives up to the hype—it’s vibrant, beautiful, and full of charm. If you're looking for a comfortable, quiet base with good food options nearby and easy access to key attractions, this place is definitely worth considering. Great value for money!

The hotel might look a bit dated from the outside, but inside it's completely renovated and feels fresh and modern. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful—offering local tips and making us feel right at home. What really blew us away was the heated floor in the room! It made the space so cozy, especially during the cooler weather. Despite its unassuming exterior, the comfort and value here are outstanding. For such a great price, you get top-notch amenities and warm hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Jeju. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and authenticity.

The hotel feels brand new after its recent renovation—bedding is incredibly soft and cozy, and all facilities seem well-maintained and thoroughly checked. Located in a vibrant area of Jeju City, there are plenty of great dining options nearby, and both Dongmun Market and Seobu-dong Pier are just a short walk away. I was sad to leave on my last day—it’s one of those rare stays where you genuinely don’t want to check out. If I ever come back to Jeju, this will be my first choice for accommodation. Highly recommend!

The location is fantastic too—super easy to get around by subway. This place offers incredible value for money, and I couldn’t be happier with my stay.
