The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, both local and international, with fresh, delicious food. Located just steps away from Xujiahui’s vibrant core, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the city by metro or on foot. Staying at Waiting Hotel in Shanghai Xujiahui was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Yishan Road Metro Station, making it super convenient for exploring the area or heading to nearby universities like Jiaotong University. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and responsive; they even upgraded my room upon check-in without any extra charge. The upgraded room was spacious, bright, and offered a great view of the street—perfect for people-watching or just enjoying the city vibes. Housekeeping was top-notch too—the cleaning crew was thorough and always quick to restock essentials like toiletries and towels. Everything felt clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully managed. If you're visiting Shanghai and want a comfortable, centrally located stay with excellent service, this hotel is absolutely worth considering. I’d definitely book here again.

Fenyang Garden Boutique Hotel

My stay at this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. I booked the terrace room, and the moment I opened the curtains, I was greeted by a stunning view of golden ginkgo trees — absolutely breathtaking. The hotel has a traditional aesthetic in its interior design, but the facilities feel modern and well-maintained. I originally chose it just because it's directly across from Shanghai Conservatory of Music for convenience during exam season, but ended up loving every minute of my stay. Room 215 features a private bathroom with excellent water pressure — super comfortable. I even managed to take some artistic photos of my daughter that turned out beautifully. The location is perfect — close to public transit and quiet enough to relax. A great value and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend!

The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Huashan Hospital, Jing’an shopping district, and Nanjing West Road. Public transit access is super convenient, whether by metro or bus. The front desk staff, Summer and Priscina, were incredibly warm and welcoming—they even upgraded us to a business executive king room at no extra cost! The service here feels timeless, with that classic old-money elegance. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, offering a great start to the day. For business travelers, this is an ideal choice with outstanding value. Hotel Equatorial Shanghai is one of Shanghai’s original five-star hotels, dating back to the early days of reform and opening-up in the 1990s. It’s undergoing a major renovation this year, so we’re excited to see how refreshed it will look. I’ll definitely be booking again once the upgrades are complete.

The location is unbeatable: stepping out the window, you’re greeted by the vibrant energy of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, with its dazzling lights and bustling atmosphere. We visited during New Year’s Day, and the festive vibe added extra magic to the experience. This hotel offers excellent value and convenience in one of Shanghai’s most iconic areas. I’d absolutely choose this property again on any future trip to Shanghai.
