HOTEL LiVEMAX PREMIUM Sapporo-Odorikouen

I booked a day trip to Hokkaido in advance, and this hotel was conveniently within the pickup zone—perfect timing. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay with a nice touch of modern comfort. What really stood out was the on-site natural hot spring—it was relaxing and refreshing, especially after a full day of exploring. I loved soaking while enjoying views of the city lights. Located just steps from Odori Park, it’s super walkable to restaurants, shops, and public transit. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, the convenience and vibe make it a top pick. HOTEL LiVEMAX Sapporo Susukino

Located in a super convenient spot, this hotel is just steps away from a 24-hour supermarket and a convenience store across the street—perfect for late-night snacks or essentials. The nearby tram stop is only a 3-minute walk, and it’s a quick 15-minute stroll to the heart of Susukino, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The room was clean and spacious, with a large bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the bathroom’s separate dry/wet area—so much more practical and hygienic. On the second floor, there’s a cozy lounge with a massage chair that’s free to use—great for unwinding after a long day. While the overall design is straightforward and not flashy, the value for money is excellent. It’s a no-brainer choice if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and a great location without breaking the bank.

HOTEL LiVEMAX Sapporo Nakajima Park GRANDE

Staying at LiVEMAX Sapporo Nakajima Park GRANDE once again, and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a 5-minute walk from Nakajima Park Station, and only about 20 minutes to Sapporo Station. A single train ride takes you straight to popular spots like the TV Tower and Clock Tower, perfect for exploring the city on your own. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a microwave, kettle, and a nice bathtub—ideal for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Upon check-in, there’s a 300 JPY fee labeled as a “bathhouse charge,” but it’s essentially just a local tax—no need to worry. The front desk staff were incredibly patient and helpful, even though communication wasn’t always smooth—still, they made sure every question was answered clearly. We drove in and parked at the nearby Times parking lot. For overnight stays, we handed over our parking voucher at reception and paid 1,400 JPY to validate it—this allowed us to exit without any hassle. However, the parking policy doesn’t allow stays longer than 24 hours, so if you plan to stay longer, the hourly rate (around 330 JPY per 20 minutes) can add up quickly. That said, the location is unbeatable: right next to convenience stores and surrounded by great dining options—whether you’re craving a quick snack or a full meal, everything’s within walking distance. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. A top pick for both business and leisure travelers.

The airport shuttle from New Chitose Airport drops you off directly at the front door—so convenient for both arrival and departure (just cross the street to catch the bus back). Sapporo Prince Hotel

Staying at Sapporo Prince Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room was surprisingly spacious—my 34-inch suitcase fit easily, even when fully opened, with plenty of room left over. Free umbrella lending was such a thoughtful touch, especially during heavy snowfall. Multiple elevators meant zero waiting time—just press and go. The second-floor onsen was a real highlight: separate men’s and women’s baths, both indoor and outdoor options, with high-end Pola skincare products. Pure luxury. I stayed on the 10th floor, and the view was breathtaking—the large windows framed stunning cityscapes and snowy landscapes, perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Breakfast was outstanding—plentiful, delicious, and beautifully presented. For the first three days, it was served in the adjacent International Pavilion; for the last three, it moved to the main lobby area, which had just finished renovations and now felt even more elegant. Eating breakfast while watching the snow fall outside was simply magical. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—especially the front desk lady who greeted us with a cheerful "Good morning" and "Hello" in fluent Chinese. This level of personal attention made all the difference. Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations in comfort, service, and atmosphere. A top-tier experience that I’d happily return to.

Hotel Sosei Sapporo - MGallery Collection

Staying at Hotel Sosei Sapporo - MGallery Collection truly exceeded my expectations for a Japanese hotel. The design aesthetic is sophisticated, the staff were attentive and friendly, the room size was just right, and the dining options were excellent. I initially had to split my booking across different dates due to availability issues with my preferred room type, but upon arrival, the hotel kindly upgraded me to a deluxe standard room—completely free of charge—and consolidated all my reservations seamlessly. There was a small oversight when housekeeping missed my room, but instead of a generic apology, they handed me a handwritten note along with a little sweet treat. That personal touch really showed how much they value their guests and how quickly they address any hiccups. This experience felt warm and human, not just transactional. If I ever return to Sapporo, this will be my first choice. Also, since I booked early, I noticed a significant price difference before departure—thank you to the platform for promptly processing the refund for the price difference. Truly appreciated!
