Staying at voco Seoul Gangnam by IHG was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Gangnam’s vibrant heart, with subway access right nearby and plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options within reach. The hotel itself exudes modern elegance; the lobby is sleek and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service. From check-in to checkout, everything felt seamless and personalized—especially the little welcome gesture that made us feel truly valued. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, with a supremely comfortable bed that made falling asleep easy and waking up a joy. The bathroom was a standout—luxurious fittings, excellent water pressure, and a refreshing shower experience. Breakfast was a highlight: abundant, fresh, and diverse, offering both Korean and international flavors that even locals would appreciate. With its prime location, top-tier amenities, and exceptional hospitality, this stay delivered incredible value. Garosugil Homestay - Female Only
This was my first solo trip to Korea, and staying at Garosugil Homestay - Female Only made the experience truly special. Located in the quiet, upscale neighborhood of Gangnam, it's peaceful yet convenient—just a short walk from subway access and with a 7-Eleven and a small grocery store nearby. The room was immaculate, with thoughtful touches like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, and toothpaste provided. I even got a complimentary set of pajamas and a sweet handwritten welcome note with my last name—such a personal touch! The room had all the essentials: air conditioning, mini-fridge, night light, power adapter, and hairdryer. My hostess was incredibly kind—she speaks Korean, Japanese, and some English, and she’s actively learning Mandarin too. She helped me carry my luggage and went out of her way to make me feel at home. The breakfast was beautifully prepared, presented with care, and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to come back again—it’s one of those rare stays that feels more like visiting family than just booking a room.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room size—thought it might be small with a twin bed, but two girls easily had plenty of space. It’s perfect for travelers who want comfort without sacrificing location. If you're planning to stay in Sinchon or Gangnam, this hotel is a top pick. Great value, great vibe, and definitely going back!

One small note: first-time visitors might struggle to find the entrance, as it’s not very visible from the street. Also, there’s ongoing construction in front of the building, which means some noise from 8 AM to 5 PM. That said, it’s a minor inconvenience compared to the overall quality. Great value, great location, and a truly refreshing stay—definitely recommend!

Fairmont Ambassador Seoul
The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. A heartfelt thanks to that kind soul for making our stay so much more personal and welcoming.
Dongjak (Daebangdong) Hyu
I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.
