Hotel Star Premier Yeoksam
The value for money at Hotel Star Premier Yeoksam is absolutely outstanding. Located just a short walk from Yeoksam Station, it's incredibly convenient for both business travel and exploring the city. The room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped—free bottled water and beverages were a nice touch, and I appreciated the complimentary charging cable right by the bed. Even though I didn’t use the desk computer, the wireless phone charger on the table was a thoughtful addition. Every little detail shows how well this hotel understands guest needs. I’ll definitely be booking here again for my next trip to Seoul.

Staying at Bangbae Hotel 2001 was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Location-wise, it's incredibly convenient: just an 8-minute walk to the nearest subway station, making it easy to explore Seoul’s main attractions without hassle. There are plenty of local shops, convenience stores, and restaurants within walking distance, so grabbing snacks or essentials is super easy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. With its unbeatable value, excellent location, and warm hospitality, I’d definitely choose this hotel again on future trips to Seoul. Highly recommended for travelers who want comfort, convenience, and great service all in one.

The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive—so warm and helpful with any questions. The hotel itself is spotless and well-maintained, with a cozy, thoughtfully designed room that feels surprisingly spacious despite its size. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept like a baby. What truly stood out was the incredible value for money—this place offers so much more than what you’d expect at this price point. The only minor downside was the check-in time at 11 PM, which felt a bit late, but everything else more than made up for it. Compared to other hotels in the area, this one offers solid comfort and amenities without the high price tag. It’s perfect for solo travelers or small groups. The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. A heartfelt thanks to that kind soul for making our stay so much more personal and welcoming.
Dongjak (Daebangdong) Hyu
I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.
