The Wave Pension
The view from The Wave Pension was absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sun rise over the sea was magical. The location is perfect: quiet yet close enough to explore Busan’s vibrant streets and beaches. Our stay was incredibly comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They kindly provided drying racks since there was no dryer in the room, but a washing machine was available—very practical for long stays. They also offered cribs for our little one, which made traveling with kids so much easier. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. This place truly offers an unforgettable experience with heartwarming hospitality and stunning surroundings. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Busan.
Busan Sea Walk Penthouse Pension
The coastal view was absolutely stunning, and having so many dining options nearby made it super convenient for grabbing a meal. I chose this pension mainly for the ability to do some simple cooking, but unfortunately, there was no electric rice cooker available, which made meal prep quite inconvenient. Also, parking directions were unclear, causing some confusion upon arrival. While the overall experience was great and the location is fantastic, adding better signage for parking and including basic kitchen appliances like a rice cooker would make a big difference. Definitely worth considering, with just a few small improvements needed.
Busan Playa Pension
The floor-to-ceiling windows are absolutely stunning—the view matches the photos online perfectly. Waking up to natural light streaming in and enjoying a quiet morning coffee with that view was one of my favorite moments. It's just a 10-minute walk to the subway station, making it easy to explore downtown Busan or nearby beaches like Haeundae. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around, so you never run out of options for dinner or a quick bite. That said, keep in mind the building doesn’t have an elevator—since the room is on the fourth floor, it might be tricky if you're carrying heavy luggage or traveling with kids. Also, the ground floor houses a restaurant and bar, so there’s some ambient noise at night—those who sleep lightly might want to take that into account. Despite these small drawbacks, I genuinely loved the stay. The location, vibe, and overall value made it worth every penny. Definitely planning to return.

Staying at Hotel Marine View was an absolute delight from start to finish. Even if you're arriving by public transportation, getting here is super easy—no hassle at all. At night, the street below comes alive with restaurants and bars—lots of energy, great atmosphere, and a real sense of local buzz. One major plus: the hotel offers parking, which is rare in this area and super helpful if you're driving. We didn’t use it, but knowing it’s there gives peace of mind. Breakfast wasn’t part of our stay, so I can't speak to its quality, but the surrounding neighborhood is packed with amazing food spots—affordable, authentic, and delicious. With such a prime location, excellent views, and easy access to dining and nightlife, this hotel is a fantastic choice for travelers who value convenience and charm.
Gwangalli Withus Ocean
The hotel itself is decent, but the overwhelming smell of food throughout the corridors and into the room at night completely ruined the experience. It’s unbearable—like you can’t take a breath without being hit by that strong odor. It’s especially noticeable in the evenings and makes staying comfortable nearly impossible. On top of that, the front desk staff was extremely unresponsive and unfriendly. When I asked for assistance, they just silently handed me a piece of paper without any explanation or eye contact. Treating guests this way is unacceptable. The service attitude needs serious improvement, especially if the hotel wants to maintain a good reputation. A clean environment and more attentive staff would go a long way in making this stay enjoyable.
