Located just a 10-minute walk from the mountain entrance, the hotel offers sea-view rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the natural landscape. Complimentary shuttle buses connect to the metro station, ensuring easy access from downtown Shenzhen.

For a more tranquil experience, consider Dongyong Bay Resort, nestled in a lush garden setting with integrated mountain and water features. It includes indoor and outdoor pools, a wellness center, and family-friendly amenities. Both properties offer guided nature tours, allowing guests to explore the ecological and historical significance of Paiya Mountain.

Key advantages: proximity to mountain, scenic views, excellent transport links, rich eco-experiences.

The most convenient option is taking Line 8 of the Shenzhen Metro to Dasha Bay Station, then transferring to bus M136 or walking about 15 minutes to the mountain entrance. For drivers, take the Yan-Pai Expressway (S2) directly to the "Paiya Mountain Park" parking lot—approximately 40 minutes from the city center.

Alternative options include tourist shuttle buses like E11 and M137, which run frequently between downtown and the base of the mountain. These are ideal for visitors without a car.

Pro tip: Weekends and holidays see heavy foot traffic—arrive before 9:00 AM to avoid crowds. Note that motor vehicles are prohibited inside the park; public transit or walking is mandatory.

Key advantages: direct metro access, extensive bus coverage, ample parking, flexible timing.

Paiya Mountain offers several distinctive outdoor experiences:

  • Morning Ecological Guided Tours: Led by certified naturalists, these walks highlight native species such as Taiwan Acacia and banyan tree groves, plus rare birds like the White-faced Spoonbill and Red-billed Scimitar Babbler.

  • Sunrise Viewing at Stone Drum Peak: Arrive between 5:30–6:30 AM to witness the first light breaking over the sea, creating a breathtaking horizon of golden sky and ocean.

  • Easy Hiking Trail – South Slope Loop: A 3.5-km path featuring ancient trench ruins and the Viewing Pavilion, with interpretive signs and rest stops—perfect for families and beginners.

  • Night Sky Observation: On moonless nights, the open area near the summit becomes an ideal spot for stargazing. The Milky Way often stretches across the sky, enhanced by smartphone astronomy apps.

Core experiences: ecological education, outdoor adventure, photography opportunities, integration of history and nature.

Yes! The Dashamsha Ocean Park at the base of Paiya Mountain is a top choice for families. It features a children’s splash pool, mini slides, and sand art zones, all within a safe, supervised environment. Regular parent-child workshops include "Marine Life Discovery" and "Nature Collage Art," blending fun with learning.

Many nearby hotels provide childcare services and family suites, some even with infinity pools and themed party spaces. Overall, the area excels in safety, educational value, and family-oriented infrastructure.

Key advantages: safe, educational, well-equipped, child-friendly facilities.

For those seeking tranquility, Dasha Bay Joyful Valley Resort stands out. This boutique retreat is nestled deep within the Paiya Mountain range, featuring low-density villas built with natural stone and timber, seamlessly blending into the forest.

Each villa has a private terrace and indoor hot tub, perfect for soaking in mountain air and sounds. Instead of a large public pool, the resort offers private bamboo hot springs and a meditation courtyard, complemented by daily wellness sessions like tai chi and aromatherapy massage.

Though slightly farther from the main trailhead (1.2 km), the resort provides electric shuttles to key points. Ideal for guests wanting to escape urban noise and reconnect with nature.

Key advantages: high privacy, strong nature integration, wellness-focused design, serene atmosphere.

The South Slope Gentle Path is the best option for beginners. At 2.8 km long, it starts at the "Southern Gate" entrance near Dashamsha Ocean Park and features gentle gradients, non-slip paving, and handrails—ideal for seniors and children.

Along the route, there are six rest stops with benches, water stations, and interpretive signs detailing local flora and ecology. A highlight is the Viewing Pavilion, where hikers can enjoy sweeping vistas of Dasha Bay and the distant Yantian Port.

The hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, ending back at the base or at a nearby café. For safety, wear non-slip shoes and carry enough water. Weekly Friday afternoon guided tours are free and cover forest history and conservation topics.

Lavenna Resort Judiaosha, Shenzhen

I’ve passed by this hotel many times while visiting Judiaosha, and finally had the chance to stay here. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the beach. On sunny days, the view of the sea is absolutely stunning. I wish I could swim during winter, but it was a bit chilly, so I didn’t go in the water much. Still, just sitting by the window watching the waves was relaxing and peaceful. The resort-style design gives it a nice getaway vibe. My ocean-view room had excellent views—waking up to that sight alone made the trip worth it. During my stay, I ran into a small issue, but the housekeeping staff handled everything quickly and with great care. Special shoutout to Cherry—her service was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The overall experience was fantastic, and I’d definitely come back. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic escape near the beach, this place is a must-try.

The YUN Resort Shenzhen Longcheer

Staying at The YUN Resort Shenzhen Longcheer was an absolute dream. Every morning, I woke up to the sight of the open sea right outside my window—on a clear day, sunlight danced across the waves like glitter on water, and the quiet reflection of the sky made the whole scene feel almost surreal. The distant sound of fishing boats and cheerful calls from locals added to the peaceful charm. After this experience, trips to Sanya or Koh Samui suddenly felt like routine getaways. The staff went above and beyond—warm, attentive, and always ready to help. They even gave us complimentary tickets for the little train ride along the breakwater, which was such a relaxing way to take in the views. Sunlight gently warmed the air as we passed by the scenic coastal path. It’s rare to find a place that blends natural beauty, comfort, and genuine hospitality so perfectly. I’m already planning my next visit.
