The boardwalk is just a 5-minute walk away, leading straight to seaside restaurants with stunning views. Perfect for dinner with a view. The only minor improvement would be clearer pre-arrival instructions on check-in procedures. That said, the owners are incredibly friendly and always available if you need anything—super responsive and welcoming. Overall, this place offers a beautiful, quiet escape with great charm and genuine hospitality. A standout stay!
Staying at Costa d'Oiro Ambiance Village was a fantastic experience! The on-site restaurant offered excellent service and a wide variety of breakfast options—so much to choose from! We dined at the hotel every evening, and the meals were both affordable and delicious. While the daily menu didn’t change much, the consistency in quality and taste made each meal satisfying. The location is convenient, just a short walk from downtown Lagos, and easy access to local attractions. Overall, it’s a well-balanced mix of comfort, value, and hospitality—definitely a place I’d recommend and return to.

No need to worry about towel management here; every guest has ample space and everything feels thoughtfully arranged. The rooms are spotless, with whisper-quiet air conditioning—a real game-changer. Fresh towels come every two days, and bed linens are changed every five days—consistent, thoughtful service. Breakfast is incredible: a wide variety of fresh options, everything you could want. You can pre-select what you’d like for breakfast the next day and make changes throughout your stay—no food waste at all. Tiago, the hotel manager, is absolutely fantastic—warm, friendly, and always smiling. He went above and beyond, even letting us enjoy breakfast in our room on check-out day, despite it being before regular hours. We rented a car for the entire stay, which was essential since the property isn’t walkable to town, but that’s not a problem—the drive to Lagos city is quick and convenient. Plenty of parking available. The only minor downside is that the pool isn’t heated, and during the first few days, strong winds made the water feel icy—even when the outside temperature was 27°C. Later, with calmer weather, the water warmed up nicely. Overall, this place offers an exceptional balance of comfort, service, and tranquility. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-managed retreat.

Right outside the main entrance, there's a direct walking path to the scenic cliffside viewpoint—just a short stroll to enjoy breathtaking coastal views. The dining experience stands out as exceptional; breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh, local options, while dinner features creative, high-quality dishes crafted with care. Everything about this place feels premium without being overpriced. It’s an outstanding value for the quality and comfort offered. The snacks in the room service menu were quite overpriced, which pushed us to eat outside for midday meals. We stayed in a ground-floor room, and there was some noticeable dampness on the walls, which was a minor but noticeable issue. Despite these small drawbacks, the hotel’s beauty, location, and general condition make it a strong choice. With a few improvements in dining quality and better moisture control in the rooms, this would be a top-tier destination.

There’s also an outdoor communal kitchen with appliances and a large table, making it easy to prepare meals or enjoy a relaxed meal outdoors. One small note: we would’ve appreciated having more cutlery on hand, so bringing your own utensils is a good idea. The host was incredibly welcoming and even met us personally in the evening—such a thoughtful touch. The location is unbeatable: right next to the beautiful Meia Praia beach, with a charming 15-minute walk along a scenic wooden pathway. If you prefer not to walk, there’s a bus stop nearby. Overall, this place exceeded all our expectations. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return—highly recommend!
