The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help with anything. I was a little concerned about the property’s age (built in 2020), but was pleasantly surprised by how well-maintained it was. Everything was spotless, clean, and thoughtfully appointed, with high-quality toiletries that added to the comfort. My trip with my best friend was made even better by the warm, attentive service from the front staff—friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. It’s one of those stays you immediately want to recommend to friends planning a visit to Hangzhou. And just a quick note: the nearby café, Qiumo, is also run by the same owner and has a similarly stylish, refined vibe—worth a stop if you’re exploring the area.

Shusheng Xunzhen No.2 Courtyard (Lingyin Temple Branch)

Staying here for two days was absolutely perfect. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Cai Shen Temple cable car entrance, so no need to worry about parking near Lingyin Temple. The room was quiet, cozy, and spotlessly clean with lightweight yet warm bedding that made it feel like home. The hostess even turned on the AC before I arrived—such thoughtful touches really stood out. On day one, I followed a scenic route from Cai Shen Temple down through Chongguang Temple, Yongfu Temple, all the way to Lingyin Temple without backtracking. I managed to catch the evening chanting ceremony, counted the arhats, and felt truly blessed by the serenity of it all. Day two started with a trip to Fajixi Temple, which is a bit farther away. The host kindly drove me there and later picked me up—no hassle at all. On the return, I took a local electric shuttle or walked through the Three Zhen temples, each step filled with history and beauty: from the Kangxi inscription at Sanmo Temple to the old pavilion where Li Shutong once meditated. I stopped by Fajing Temple to pick up some traditional mooncakes—locals swear by them. Then wandered through Fajing Temple’s sacred grounds and stood by the famous Sanyi Stone, pondering what “non-dual path” truly means. Back at Lingyin Temple’s Feilai Entrance, the highlight of the journey was eating at Pumeng Vegetarian Restaurant. It required a short wait, but every bite was worth it—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Afterward, a quick 2-minute walk brought me back to the inn, where I relaxed with a cup of Jiuxiao Hongmei tea, played with the adorable cat in the courtyard, and admired the view of the first Cai Shen Temple. Two days flew by in peace and joy—this stay wasn’t just comfortable, it was deeply meaningful. I’ll definitely be back.

DOMO Villa

This is my third stay at DOMO Villa, and I’ve been completely in love since the first visit. This time I stayed on the second floor—still with that perfect view of my favorite tree right outside the window. The service was as excellent as always: they reached out beforehand to help with vehicle access permits, and once checked in, the host sent over a detailed guide to nearby dining, shopping, and sightseeing spots. Any questions or requests were answered promptly and handled with care. The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept like a baby. Plus, being just a short walk from Siyanjing and Manjuelong makes exploring so convenient. The peaceful mountain setting combined with thoughtful hospitality makes this place truly special. Definitely coming back again.

Youshan Courtyard Hotel

This hidden gem completely exceeded my expectations! I was a little nervous at first, worried the actual place might not match the photos online, but it truly is 'exactly as shown'—the cleanliness, amenities, and surrounding environment are all top-notch. The whole vibe feels elegant and peaceful, making it a perfect retreat. There are plenty of dining options nearby, from breakfast spots to great lunch and dinner restaurants. The coffee shop across the street has an amazing aesthetic and serves excellent coffee—perfect for a morning pick-me-up. It's also incredibly convenient for exploring attractions: just a short walk to Taiziwan Park, and other key sites are easily reachable by bus or taxi. With its unbeatable location, serene atmosphere, and thoughtful touches throughout, this is definitely a place I’d return to again and again.

No.26 Garden B&B (Xihu Scenic Area Branch)

Staying at No.26 Garden B&B in the West Lake area was a delightful experience overall. The location is super convenient—just a short walk to the scenic attractions and surrounded by great local eateries. The room itself isn’t huge, but it’s well-designed with clean lines and modern touches. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, from the bedding to the bathroom fixtures. The air conditioning works like a dream—perfect for those warm summer nights. Cleanliness is top-notch: no dust, no odors, just spotless spaces. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making check-in and check-out smooth. It’s a real hidden gem with excellent value for money. I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to Hangzhou.

The hotel is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the Wulin Square Metro Station—perfect for getting around Hangzhou. The staff were exceptional, especially An An at the front desk. She greeted me with a warm smile, offered to carry my luggage, and took the time to explain all the hotel’s amenities in detail. She even shared personal recommendations for nearby hidden gem eateries, which made our stay feel so much more authentic and enjoyable. The housekeeping team was also very friendly and attentive, keeping everything spotless. From check-in to checkout, the service was top-notch, making this a truly memorable stay. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with genuine hospitality, this is definitely the place to book.
