InterContinental - Los Angeles Downtown

First day in LA, and staying at this InterContinental was an absolute surprise! I was assigned to the 61st floor with a stunning city view—so much better than expected. The location is perfect: walking distance to convenience stores and fast food spots, and public transit is just around the corner. Sadly, my tight schedule meant I didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but the amenities throughout the hotel are top-notch. What really stood out was the value for money—this price for a high-floor room with such great views? Definitely worth it. A small downside: the lobby is on the 70th floor, so you have to take the elevator up there first, then go down to your room—slightly inconvenient. Also, valet parking comes with an extra fee of about $80 per night, which pushes the total cost close to $250 for the room alone. Still, despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was fantastic. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Work trip turned into an unexpected highlight—this stay was even better than a vacation. Located right in the heart of downtown, everything is within easy reach, whether by foot or public transit. The view from the room of the city skyline at night is absolutely breathtaking and something you shouldn’t miss. I was disappointed I couldn’t use the pool due to the cooler weather, but it’s already on my list to come back just for that. The atmosphere, comfort, and convenience make this place stand out. Highly recommend for both business travelers and those looking for a relaxing urban escape.

USC Hotel

Staying at USC Hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip. The room was spacious and well-designed, offering plenty of comfort and a nice open feel. The housekeeping service was excellent—always responsive and friendly. All the facilities were in great condition, making daily life very convenient. The only minor note is that the air conditioning unit felt a bit old, but it still worked efficiently and didn’t affect the overall experience. What really stands out is the location—right next to a main entrance of the University of Southern California. Walking to campus takes just a few minutes, which is perfect for students or anyone attending events on-site. It’s incredibly convenient and saves so much time. I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Los Angeles, especially those connected to USC. A fantastic stay with great value.

I especially appreciated the large parking facility right next door—no stress finding a spot, which made my stay even more convenient. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The on-site restaurant offers great food quality and a diverse menu—breakfast was particularly satisfying. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value, comfort, and service. Moxy Downtown Los Angeles

Staying at Moxy Downtown Los Angeles was a fantastic experience overall! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby. While the room didn’t have much surface space for luggage or toiletries, the wall-mounted hooks were a lifesaver—super practical and kept everything organized. One highlight was being able to use the microwave at the nearby AC Hotel, which made quick meals super easy. The fitness center was clean, well-maintained, and had great equipment—perfect for a morning workout. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when they arranged a late check-out until 1 PM instead of the standard 11 AM—such a thoughtful touch. Just one minor note: the doors can be a bit loud when slammed shut. We accidentally startled our neighbors (and vice versa) a few times because it sounded like someone was trying to enter the room. But honestly, it’s just a small quirk and doesn’t take away from the excellent stay. Great location, fun vibe, and amazing value—definitely coming back!

Hollywood Hotel

Staying at Hollywood Hotel was an absolutely delightful experience overall. The property is immaculate, with clean and spacious rooms that felt both modern and cozy. I especially loved the room key—it’s so cute I actually brought it home as a souvenir! The only minor downside was one staff member (Spanish-speaking) who seemed rather unfriendly, which slightly dampened the mood. However, every other team member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Location-wise, the neighborhood isn’t the safest for walking around, and there aren’t many attractions within easy reach on foot. We rented a car, which made everything much more convenient—highly recommended if you don’t have access to transportation. That said, considering the great value, excellent service, and prime location near Hollywood landmarks, this hotel is definitely worth a stay.

The hotel feels brand new, immaculately clean, and the staff go above and beyond with their friendly, attentive service. Located in a vibrant arts district, it’s perfectly positioned—just steps away from galleries and cultural spots, yet quiet and safe right on the street level. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and secure the immediate surroundings were; no homeless individuals in sight, even just a short walk away. The dining experience was exceptional—the food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, though prices are on the higher side. That said, the quality justifies the cost for a special occasion or a luxurious stay. Overall, this is one of the best places to stay in Los Angeles, offering both comfort and convenience. It's easy to access downtown via public transit, and the entire vibe is sophisticated without feeling cold. Highly recommend for travelers who value style, cleanliness, and excellent hospitality.

I loved how fresh the linens were every day—so soft and comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The on-site lounge is fantastic: stylish ambiance, attentive service, and a great vibe. Their American-style coffee is excellent—rich but not bitter, perfect for starting the day. And the fried chicken wings? Absolutely addictive—crispy outside, juicy inside.
