Staying at the Best Western Ars Hotel was a delightful experience overall. Located just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, it’s convenient for getting around Rome—though the uphill location can be a bit challenging when walking with luggage. We booked a 3-night stay, but left after just one night. The neighborhood was extremely dirty and noisy—constant shouting and disturbing sounds all through the night. Getting to our room was a nightmare: narrow corridors, cramped space, and literally hundreds of doors to open just to get inside. It felt like walking through a maze with no comfort at all. The overall experience was terrible, and I can’t imagine ever staying here again.

The Appia Park Hotel is a fantastic choice for a comfortable stay in Rome. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with free parking and a convenient elevator connecting the parking area directly to the upper floors—really a plus for travelers arriving by car. The staff are attentive and genuinely helpful, making the check-in and check-out process smooth. The only downside is the pet fee of €20 per night for small dogs, which feels quite steep.
