Unlike London’s Chinatown with its focus on Cantonese and Southeast Asian cuisine, this one offers authentic Chinese flavors—perfectly cooked roujiamo, refreshing liangpi, and steaming xiaolongbao that brought back fond memories. If you're living abroad and miss familiar tastes, this is a real treat. The service was discreet yet attentive—staff didn’t intrude, but whenever I needed something, they responded instantly. I asked for an extra blanket and a one-hour late check-out, both arranged without hesitation. While the room came with a paid bottle of water, the hotel generously provided two glass-bottled waters every evening, delivered personally by staff—such a thoughtful touch. On checkout day, a gentleman seated nearby went out of his way to assist me with luggage storage, even reminding me I could still enjoy certain facilities after checking out. That level of care made all the difference. My child and I had a wonderful time, and the overall experience felt personal, warm, and well-balanced. This isn’t just a stay—it’s a memorable moment. UNA Hotels Galles Milano

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight. The property is literally across from the Lima metro station, so you can reach Duomo, Sforza Castle, and Santa Maria delle Grazie (home of The Last Supper) quickly and without transfers—just take the red line. It’s a 13-minute walk to Milano Centrale, perfect for travelers with tight schedules. The rooms are spotless, with daily cleaning and fresh towels and linens changed every day. Slippers, bathrobes, and a kettle are available upon request—delivered promptly. Breakfast on the 6th-floor rooftop terrace is outstanding: fluffy omelets, bacon, sausages, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, a wide variety of pastries, jams, Nutella, yogurts, and even a dedicated basket of gluten-free options. Coffee and tea are served all day, and you can grab coffee to go. I stayed in a single room with a window facing an inner courtyard—privacy was great thanks to the shutters. Plus, the front desk offers free marshmallows for guests to enjoy. Attention to detail, comfort, and location make this a top-tier choice. Highly recommend!

Crowne Plaza Milan City

Our first stop in Italy was Milan, and staying at Crowne Plaza Milan City was an absolute highlight. The airport bus costs just €10 and drops you right at the central station—just a 10-minute walk to the hotel. Even before check-in time, we were able to store our luggage. Right outside the front door is the Yellow M3 metro line, which takes only six stops to reach the Duomo—perfect for sightseeing and shopping. When we returned in the afternoon, our bags were already in the room, which saved us so much hassle. The pull-out sofa for the kids was surprisingly comfortable, and the room itself was spotless, well-equipped, and spacious enough for three adults without feeling cramped. The complimentary bottled water comes in small boxes with only three bottles per day—nothing wrong with that, but if you’re looking for better quality, pick up something slightly more expensive from the nearby supermarket; cheaper brands tend to be just filtered tap water and leave noticeable scale when boiled. But the real star? The breakfast. Hands down one of the best we’ve had anywhere—especially the hot stir-fried vegetables, which felt like a breath of fresh air for someone with a Chinese palate. It’s now our benchmark when comparing future hotels.

Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 3-minute walk to Milan Cathedral, 2 minutes to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and a 3-minute stroll to the metro station. Everything you need is within walking distance. Even late at night, the area stays quiet and peaceful—perfect for a restful stay. A top-tier choice in the heart of Milan.
