Regal Oriental Hotel

Staying at Regal Oriental Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish. The room was spacious and well-designed, with the air conditioning system working perfectly—no cold drafts blowing directly onto the bed, which made sleeping really comfortable. Hot water was strong and consistent, perfect for a relaxing shower after a long day. Complimentary coffee and tea bags were a nice touch, especially during early mornings or late nights. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, offering a serene retreat right in the heart of Hong Kong. There are plenty of dining options nearby—great for grabbing a bite whether you're craving local street food or international cuisine—and getting around via the MTR is super convenient. I had to run some errands upon arrival, so I asked a friend to drop off my luggage at the hotel ahead of time. When I checked in later that evening, the concierge team handled everything smoothly and with genuine hospitality. It’s definitely a repeat visit for me this year—this place just keeps delivering. With its outstanding value, top-notch service, and prime location, I highly recommend it to any traveler visiting Hong Kong. Five stars without hesitation!

Urbanwood Hung Hom

Staying at Urbanwood Hung Hom was a really positive experience overall. The room was small but well-organized and cozy, with a calming low-saturation green palette that made the space feel serene and inviting. Cleanliness and attention to detail were excellent—everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The location is fantastic; it’s super convenient for getting around Hong Kong, just steps away from the MTR station and surrounded by great local eateries and shops. That said, the bathroom is quite compact—smaller than I’ve seen in many other hotels—and the shower pressure is on the weak side, which was a bit disappointing. Still, these minor drawbacks don’t take away from the overall quality. For travelers looking for a quiet, clean, and centrally located stay with good value, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Habyt Austin Avenue

Staying at Habyt Austin Avenue in Hong Kong was a great experience overall. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained—perfect for a comfortable stay. I really appreciated being able to store my luggage, which came in handy whether arriving early or checking out late. The location is a bit tricky to find at first glance, so adding clearer signage or nearby landmarks on the address would help guests navigate more easily. Check-in time is 3:00 PM, but having the option to check in earlier would be even better, especially for travelers with tight schedules. That said, the transportation access is excellent—just a short walk from the MTR station, making it easy to explore different parts of Hong Kong. There are also plenty of local eateries and convenience stores nearby. Overall, this is a solid choice with great value and convenience.

Synloc Tower

Staying at Synloc Tower was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, genuine hospitality—always smiling, always ready to help. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: right next to the MTR station and surrounded by everything you need, from convenience stores to local eateries. Getting around the city is a breeze. What really stood out was the affordability—this place offers incredible value for such a central spot. I loved the monthly laundry package; it’s affordable, hassle-free, and completely free to use. Plus, the shared kitchen is a game-changer if you’re looking to cook your own meals. It’s clean, well-equipped, and perfect for saving money while enjoying home-cooked comfort. For anyone wanting to live in the heart of the city without breaking the bank, this is hands down a top pick. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. ❤️

Pillows Co-Living

The location is absolutely fantastic—right next to the MTR station, making it super easy to get to Victoria Park and K11 just a short walk away. The convenience really stands out, and the overall stay was enjoyable with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. That said, during my recent visit, I noticed a slight odor in the bathroom, and the drainage seemed sluggish. I managed to clear out some hair from the drain, but water still didn’t flow properly. This meant I had to wash step by step—first wetting my hair, turning off the water, lathering, then turning it back on to rinse. It wasn’t ideal, especially after a long day. Unfortunately, I returned late at night and the front desk was unattended, so I couldn’t report it in person. I hope the team can look into checking the plumbing regularly to avoid this issue for future guests. Despite that small hiccup, I’d still recommend this place—it’s well-located and offers great value.

Yesinn @YMT Youth Hostel

The cleanliness here is outstanding—every room was spotless and meticulously maintained. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in quick and hassle-free. Communication in Chinese was seamless, which made everything smooth. The location is fantastic—just a 30-minute walk to Victoria Harbour, passing through the lively area of Tsim Sha Tsui along the way. Great for exploring shops, dining, and city sights. This hostel offers excellent value for money and truly deserves every bit of praise. Highly recommended!

Sleep Cubee Hostel

Staying at Sleep Cubee Hostel near Causeway Bay MTR station was an absolute game-changer for my solo trip to Hong Kong. With accommodation prices here being notoriously high, this place offers incredible value—each bunk is private, clean, and surprisingly comfortable. I was genuinely impressed by how well-maintained the beds were; I slept like a baby every night. The location is perfect—right next to the subway station, so getting around the city is effortless. Whether you're shopping, exploring local food spots, or just want a quiet base in a vibrant area, this hostel delivers on all fronts. It’s not just budget-friendly—it’s smart, hygienic, and thoughtfully designed. If you’re traveling alone and want a great balance between comfort and cost, this is definitely one of the top choices in Hong Kong.

Hop inn

I absolutely loved staying at this hostel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived—felt like home right away. Most guests were international travelers, which made it easy to meet people from all over the world and strike up conversations naturally. The common area is spacious and super comfortable, with two private bathrooms and showers—no waiting, no hassle. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a short walk to the subway station, bus stops, and major attractions like Tsim Sha Tsui, Central, and Victoria Harbour. Everything is within easy reach, making exploring Hong Kong effortless. For such a great vibe, amazing location, and affordable price, I’d definitely book here again if I ever come back to Hong Kong.

Starway Capsules

Traveling solo? Don’t worry—this place is perfect for you. The front desk staff might look a bit stern at first glance, but they’re actually super kind and helpful. My capsule-style bed was cozy and well-maintained, with just enough space to stretch out comfortably. The best part? A tiny peek of the Victoria Harbour view from the window—especially lovely in the morning light. Located right in the heart of bustling Causeway Bay, everything you need is within walking distance: great food, shopping, nightlife, and more. And it’s literally steps away from the subway station—super convenient for getting around Hong Kong. With its unbeatable location, friendly vibe, and excellent value, this hostel truly delivers. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Li's Chain Hostel

The owner is very friendly and clearly knows how to run a business. I originally booked online for the 3rd, but due to a change in my schedule, I ended up staying an extra night—charged an additional HK$280, and unfortunately, my original booking couldn’t be refunded. So I had to stay two nights total. Check-in was a bit late, only after 5 PM, and early check-in wasn’t possible. That said, there was one older staff member who seemed quite sensitive—didn’t like being called 'Grandpa' as he felt it made him seem old, and he even got upset when I tried to speak, claiming it might trigger his heart condition. I didn’t mean any harm—I just didn’t know I’d offended him. It was a bit awkward, and I hope the team can work on a warmer, more welcoming approach with guests. Despite that, the place is clean, well-located, and offers great value for money. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay with a personal touch.

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong

Spent Christmas Eve at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong and it was absolutely magical. The lobby and second-floor atrium were beautifully decorated with tall Christmas trees, creating a festive atmosphere the moment you walk in. The room was clean, well-maintained, and offered a lovely view of the giant Ferris wheel and glimpses of the sea—especially stunning at night when the city lights shimmered across the water. Service was exceptional from start to finish. I arrived earlier than check-in time, and they happily accommodated me with early check-in without any hassle. Staff even helped carry my luggage up to the room and assisted again at checkout by bringing my bags down to the side entrance. It’s rare to find such thoughtful, personalized service in a luxury hotel, and it truly made the stay unforgettable. If you're looking for a memorable holiday experience in Hong Kong, this is the place.

The Peninsula Hong Kong

The Peninsula has this magical way of turning 'liking' into a habit. From the first golden ray of morning light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows, to unwinding in the bathtub at night after a long day — every moment feels intentional and luxurious. The classic English afternoon tea on the tiered stand is a true delight, with delicate pastries and perfectly brewed tea. And through experiences like the Peninsula Academy, you get a genuine sense of Hong Kong’s soul, blending East and West seamlessly. It’s not just about comfort or style — it’s about living well, thoughtfully, and gracefully. The attention to detail, the impeccable service, and the timeless elegance make every stay feel unforgettable. This isn’t just a hotel; it’s an experience that stays with you long after check-out.
