Unfortunately, we hit bad weather with a typhoon, causing several attractions we had tickets for to close unexpectedly, which was disappointing. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, and honestly, I slept better here than in many hotels. It felt safe, peaceful, and truly relaxing—just one minor note: the cleaning staff came by at 10 a.m., which was a bit loud, but not enough to ruin the experience. I’d love to see some live acoustic music sometime—maybe someone strumming guitar and singing, just like in those heartwarming clips from Da Bing. I’ve been inspired by his stories for years, and although I didn’t make it to Da Bing’s little house this time due to tight timing, I’m already planning my next visit. This place has that rare mix of comfort, community, and soul—perfect for travelers who value connection over convenience. A real gem in Suzhou, and definitely worth returning to.
