Staying at Vyluk Hotel was a delightful surprise! The staff, especially Xiao Nan and Xiao Jia at the front desk, were incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless—every corner clean, bed linens and towels felt freshly sanitized, which made me feel so at ease. What truly impressed me was the excellent soundproofing; I didn’t hear a single noise from the hallway all night, and I slept like a baby. Location-wise, it’s perfect—just a short walk to Huangtuling Metro Station, making it super easy to explore Wuyi Square or downtown Changsha by subway. Even though the amenities are simple, everything works perfectly: toiletries are provided, the bathroom is functional, and the overall vibe is clean and cozy. The staff even took time to recommend nearby attractions—such thoughtful service really stood out. For a budget-friendly hotel, this place offers incredible value. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changsha.

Meinian 21° International Hotel (Changsha Central South University New Campus)

My stay at Meinian 21° International Hotel was overall excellent—great service, clean rooms, and a convenient location near the Changsha Central South University Metro Station. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, and they even provided complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch. The lobby has a modern, upscale vibe, and public transport access is excellent—perfect for exploring the city or heading to campus. That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement, especially in the breakfast area. First, there was no background music, and the TV in the dining space was silent, making the atmosphere feel a bit cold and lifeless. Second, the room temperature in the breakfast hall seemed too low, and the staff’s attire didn’t quite match the expected standard of a mid-to-high-end chain hotel—felt a bit casual for the brand image. Lastly, the breakfast selection was limited, which made the dining area feel empty and lacking warmth. More variety and better ambiance would go a long way in enhancing the morning experience. Overall, it’s still a great choice, but small tweaks could make it truly outstanding.

Yijian Hotel
