I absolutely loved my trip to Egypt, and the Ramses Palace Hotel made it even better! The hotel is spotless, comfortable, and very safe—exactly what you want when traveling. What truly stood out was the incredible security team. We accidentally lost our phone somewhere—maybe in the hotel, near the pyramids, or on the shuttle bus—and were worried it was gone for good. We reached out to the hotel security, and within minutes, they called back with great news: they’d found it and held it securely. I can’t thank Abd El Azem A Zaher and Mustafa Fathy Mohamed Mustafa enough for their prompt and professional help. Their dedication really made a difference. The location is excellent, just a short walk from major attractions, and public transport access is super convenient. If you're visiting Cairo, this hotel is a top choice—highly recommend!
My stay at Longchamps Zamalek was absolutely fantastic. The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable—hands down the best bed I experienced throughout my entire trip across Egypt, which included five different hotels. The cleanliness of the entire property stood out, making it feel like a true boutique retreat. Breakfast was exceptional—fresh, delicious, and far superior to any other hotel breakfast I had during my visit. The owners were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive; they even offered German Christmas cookies, which added such a thoughtful touch. Located right in the heart of Zamalek, the hotel is perfectly positioned near restaurants, shops, and attractions—ideal for exploring Cairo on foot or by metro. I was sad we only stayed one night, but if I ever return to Cairo, this will be my first choice. A truly memorable experience with outstanding value.
Cairo Castle Hostel truly stands out as my top choice for exploring the city. I stayed at eight different hotels during my trip through Cairo, but this one has become my favorite — almost like a second home. Located on the 16th floor, the view is unbeatable: you can see the entire city, the Nile River, and even catch a glimpse of the pyramids in the distance — it feels like being on top of the world. The location is fantastic — Ramses Street puts you right in the heart of things, with shops just a minute’s walk away, Abu Tarek Koshari only five minutes on foot, and the Nile River within easy reach too. The staff are exceptional — warm, helpful, and always respectful without being overbearing. There’s a calm, welcoming energy throughout the place. Even though we’re in the middle of a bustling city, the noise fades into the background at night, replaced by a soft hum of urban life that feels more like soothing background music than disturbance. I’ve already decided to book an extra night next time just to enjoy the view in peace. The vibe here is vibrant yet peaceful, and you really feel connected to the heartbeat of Cairo. It might not be a luxury hotel, but it’s hands down my favorite stay in the city — even better than some high-end places I’ve experienced before. Thank you for making my trip so memorable. Can’t wait to come back and see you all again!
Staying at Zamalek X Hostel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Cairo. Located right in the heart of Zamalek, it's incredibly convenient for exploring the city—just a short walk to great cafes, restaurants, and landmarks. The Nile views from the rooms are breathtaking, especially at sunset. The space is clean, spacious, and well-maintained with modern amenities. I loved having access to a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy, inviting living area perfect for relaxing or meeting fellow travelers. Kareem, the owner, goes above and beyond—he’s friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. The vibe here is warm and welcoming, making it feel like home. This isn’t just a hostel; it’s a real experience. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo.
Staying at Oasis Hotel Heliopolis was a great experience, especially because of the convenient access to Cairo International Airport—just a short ride away, making my departure stress-free. While the price is on the higher side, the value for money actually holds up when you consider the quality of the rooms, friendly staff, and overall ambiance. The hotel blends modern comfort with Egyptian-inspired design, creating a unique and relaxing atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast spread—fresh, diverse, and delicious. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located base in Cairo with excellent transport links, this hotel delivers. Definitely worth considering, especially if you prioritize convenience and a pleasant stay.
Staying at Nile Zamalek Hotel was a real highlight of my trip to Cairo. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Zamalek, a vibrant neighborhood full of expats and a great mix of culture and charm. The staff went above and beyond with their kindness, politeness, and helpfulness—always smiling, always ready to assist. I especially loved the rooftop bar and restaurant: the food was delicious, creative, and well-prepared, and the views over the Nile at sunset were absolutely breathtaking. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing evening drink or dinner with a view. While breakfast was modest, it was still satisfying and adequate. Overall, the hotel has such a fun, welcoming vibe that makes you feel instantly at home. If you're looking for a stylish, centrally located stay with excellent service and a touch of elegance, this place is a must-try.
We booked a room at Venus Hostel just to store our luggage and freshen up before boarding the Watania Sleeping Train to Luxor later in the afternoon. The location was tricky to find—no clear signage, and the entrance didn’t make a great first impression. The elevator was in poor condition, which raised some concerns. However, once we reached the upper floor, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making the stay more pleasant despite the building’s quirks. The room was minimalist but clean, and the bathroom was spotless. We didn’t get a chance to test the bedding since we had a tight schedule. One downside was the noisy environment—especially noticeable at night. Still, the area is close to several restaurants, so dining options are convenient. Overall, it’s a practical choice for travelers on a tight timetable, especially those heading out overnight. While not luxurious, the hostel offers solid value for its purpose.
Staying at Colour Holidays was a pleasant surprise in terms of location—everything in central Cairo is within walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city without relying on taxis or public transit. The price point is excellent for what you get, offering great value for money. That said, the property does show its age with some outdated decor and signs of neglect in maintenance. However, the potential is undeniable—the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe has charm. With a little investment in refurbishment and upkeep, this place could easily become one of the most loved budget-friendly stays in the area. It’s not perfect, but definitely worth considering if you're looking for a simple, well-located base in Cairo.
Staying at Sonesta Hotel Tower & Casino Cairo was an absolute delight. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with a spacious and welcoming lobby that offers plenty of seating for relaxing or just unwinding after a long day. What really stood out was the direct access to the pool area—perfectly set up with ample tables and loungers where you can sip drinks, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy some quiet time under the sun. The outdoor space feels open and well-maintained, making it easy to unwind without feeling crowded. Plus, the location is convenient for getting around Cairo, with easy access to public transit and nearby dining options. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully designed—cleanliness, comfort, and convenience all in one. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo.
My stay at Fairmont Nile City was absolutely outstanding—exceeded all expectations! Upon arrival around 3 PM, my room wasn’t ready yet, but the staff kindly escorted me to the lounge where I was treated to a complimentary drink while waiting. That level of care made the wait feel seamless. The mini-bar in the room was fully stocked with free snacks and beverages—although it’s typically replenished after three nights, they actually restocked it by the second day, which was impressive. I left a 50 EGP tip for one of the front desk staff, expecting it to be taken immediately, but surprisingly, it wasn’t collected until my final day. That small gesture really stood out—it showed genuine professionalism and thoughtfulness. The river view from my upgraded room was breathtaking, and the location is super convenient for public transit. This hotel offers exceptional value and service. Definitely coming back next time.
The Al Masa Hotel in Nasr City is an excellent choice for a comfortable stay in Cairo. Its location is incredibly convenient—just a short 10-minute taxi ride from the city’s largest shopping center, and very close to the airport, making travel a breeze. The hotel itself feels more like a resort, with multiple on-site restaurants. I tried the Lebanese cuisine, which was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast buffet changes daily with a wide variety of options—always fresh and satisfying. Cleanliness is top-notch, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The only downside was during Friday and Saturday nights when local weddings were held at the hotel; the music was quite loud and continued until around 11 PM, which slightly disrupted sleep. However, this is a minor issue considering the great value, comfort, and convenience. Overall, a highly recommended stay for travelers looking for quality and ease in central Cairo.
Staying at The St. Regis Cairo was an absolute highlight of my trip—far beyond what I expected. The breakfast view overlooking the Nile River was pure magic, making every morning feel like a scene from a luxury magazine. The hotel radiates old-money elegance with impeccable architecture and refined details throughout. Facilities are top-notch, service is discreet yet attentive, and the overall atmosphere feels timeless and sophisticated. This has easily become my Hotel of the Year. Honestly, it’s in a completely different league compared to the St. Regis Shanghai—this one truly stands out. If you're choosing between this and the Waldorf, skip the latter. The difference isn’t just subtle—it’s massive. For anyone looking for unmatched luxury and unforgettable ambiance in Cairo, this is the place.
