Hostal Las Acacias
Karina 5/5 just now on Google: Las Acacias in Malaga is such a charming place—it feels like a little slice of Notting Hill in Spain. Exactly what I was looking for: a peaceful, quiet retreat that’s still close enough to walk to the beach and downtown, without facing a noisy street. The whole place has this lovely boutique vibe—everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I stayed four days and had two different rooms—one tucked in the garden (which I lovingly call 'The Little House'), and another on the first floor, both stunning in their own way. If you hear any noise, it's only from a few late-night guests who don’t respect the quiet atmosphere, but otherwise, it’s incredibly peaceful. Check-in and check-out are super smooth—everything’s key-card operated, no waiting around. The owner and staff are incredibly attentive and warm. Every detail is spotless: fresh towels, new toothbrushes and toothpaste, high-quality shampoo and conditioner, bathrobe, hairdryer—all top-notch. Downstairs, there’s a coffee machine with various capsules, a wide selection of teas and infusions, a kettle, glass-bottled mineral water, mini croissants, ensaimadas, and other treats. There are napkins, multiple sweeteners, honey, and proper cutlery. A pantry stocked with crystal glasses, plus an outdoor fridge for storing your things, a toaster, and a microwave—perfect if you want to enjoy breakfast or a light meal in the garden. The garden itself is gorgeous and serene, complete with umbrellas and beach towels—such a thoughtful touch. There’s even a bus stop right at the corner, so you can easily reach the city center without needing a taxi or car. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things—Las Acacias has become my go-to hideaway in Malaga, and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making my stay so special!
