Later in the evening, I had a small issue upon returning to the hotel, and reaching out for help was the best decision. They responded instantly with genuine care and enthusiasm, never once showing frustration. Their dedication made the entire trip feel more relaxed and enjoyable. The lobby on the 32nd floor is spacious and offers great city views—very impressive right from arrival. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished with modern amenities. Our check-in experience was smooth, thanks to the friendly and efficient front desk staff. Special shoutout to Xiao Ya and Xiao Gou—they upgraded our room without hesitation, arranged a late check-out, and even gave us a cute souvenir: a Sanxingdui-themed fridge magnet. It’s such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. Overall, the service, location, and value were outstanding. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a personal touch in Chengdu.

A surprise room upgrade—our original booking was already comfortable, but the upgraded space offered so much more room and a stunning view of the city skyline at night. That alone made the experience feel truly luxurious. What really stood out, though, was how quickly they responded to a small request: after a long day under heavy heating, I mentioned feeling too warm, and within minutes, the front desk had arranged a gentle cooling fan. Unlike harsh air conditioning, it blew a soft, steady breeze that kept us cool all night without drying out the air—such a thoughtful touch! Even more delightful were the three adorable panda plushies left in our room by the staff. They instantly added a playful charm and made the space feel like a cozy retreat. Location-wise, the hotel is perfect—just a short walk from Taikoo Li, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The interior design has a modern, minimalist elegance, and the team’s professionalism and warmth made us feel right at home. Millennium Hotel Chengdu

Staying at Millennium Hotel Chengdu (South Station Branch) was a great experience overall. The room I booked was a scenic view room with plenty of space, and the view across the street to Xianshentree Park was absolutely stunning—perfect for morning light or evening city views. However, the windows were completely non-operable, which made ventilation an issue. I understand safety concerns due to the high floor level, but allowing a small opening would be much more practical than having no airflow at all. The staff were excellent—especially the concierge who helped me collect my package, saving me a lot of time. For food delivery, unfortunately, you have to go downstairs yourself to pick it up; a robot delivery service would be a nice upgrade. The laundry room only has one dryer, which became a major bottleneck during peak holiday periods—adding another unit would make a big difference. On the hygiene side, there’s room for improvement: no trash bags in any of the bins, making them uncomfortable to use, and there were stubborn stains on the bathroom floor that weren’t visible until I moved the carpet accidentally. Despite these minor issues, the hotel met my expectations. Great location, good value, and I’d definitely choose this place again when visiting Chengdu.

Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel

This was my first stay at Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel, and it completely changed my perception of the city for the better. After checking several options, I chose this hotel mainly because of its unbeatable location: the metro entrance is right at the building’s doorstep, making it super easy to reach places like People's Park and the local museum. Breakfast was outstanding — abundant, fresh, and included handmade wontons and authentic bean curd pudding. The bathroom was well-maintained with perfect water temperature and strong shower pressure. But honestly, what stood out most was the bed — incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. I actually considered buying the same set! Plus, the room had zero unpleasant odors upon entry — just clean, fresh air. Overall, an exceptional experience with great value and attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chengdu.
