During dinner, a young, friendly server noticed our situation and proactively brought a cushion so my parent could elevate their injured arm—something that actually helped with swelling. The room ran surprisingly hot—even at 16°C, it felt stuffy, and by afternoon it seemed close to 30°C, so maybe a slight AC adjustment would help. Also, the pool is on the smaller side.
