Front desk service was friendly and thoughtful; when I mentioned needing disposable toiletries upon check-in, they followed up two days later to confirm if I still needed them—such a nice touch! There’s also a free coffee machine in the lobby, perfect for a morning pick-me-up. The complimentary self-service laundry is another big plus—very convenient for longer stays. On the bright side, right across the street is a small breakfast shop offering local-style options starting at just ¥2.5 (note: the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, so online info might be misleading). I stayed at a similar Homeinn property in Hangzhou last month, and the service quality was just as strong. It’s amazing how far the brand has come compared to what it used to be over a decade ago.
