And once you’re down on the boardwalk, you’re literally steps away from the open sea—great for swimming (though if you're not confident in deep water, the public beach is safer). Breakfast wasn’t overly varied, but it had all the essentials: eggs, oatmeal, milk, whole grains, and fruit. Since I don’t have high expectations for breakfast, it worked fine for me. Grand Regency Hotel

Just checked out from Grand Regency Hotel in Qingdao, and I have to say the entire experience was exceptional. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Every staff member went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm without being overbearing. The dining options were outstanding, especially the seafood. Freshness was evident in every bite, truly tasting like it came straight from the ocean. The pool area is serene and well-maintained, and the fitness center has modern equipment—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Located just steps away from public transit, getting around the city was a breeze. This hotel delivers on comfort, service, and value. If I’m ever back in Qingdao, this will be my first choice again. Highly recommend!
