I booked the Courtyard King Room, and wow—the view from the window felt like having my own private garden. The room itself was beautifully designed with smart tech and high-end finishes, plus a complimentary mini-bar. The front desk even has a resident cat—adorable and so welcoming! The garden area is serene and perfect for sipping tea or just relaxing while watching the river and ancient city walls. Staff were incredibly warm and attentive—service that truly feels personal, almost like a five-star hotel. Free Song-style afternoon tea? Yes, please! What surprised me most was how easy parking was—both inside the courtyard and beneath the wall. Perfect for travelers driving their own car. I originally booked a deluxe king room, but the friendly front desk staff upgraded me to a spacious suite with no hesitation. The room was immaculate, clean, and very comfortable. Huge thanks to the two front desk attendants—they were professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Their recommendations for local attractions and must-try snacks were spot-on and incredibly useful. The location is incredibly convenient, just steps away from the metro station and close to Nanjing University. What stood out most was the amazing value for money—affordable rates without compromising on comfort or cleanliness. I’ve stayed here once and already plan to return. This stay was absolutely fantastic! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Xinjiekou, making shopping and dining super convenient. The room was spotless, with excellent natural light and airflow, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable—perfect for a good night’s sleep. I was especially impressed by the smart toilet; it made using the bathroom so much more enjoyable. There's also a microwave and fridge in the room, which was a huge plus for reheating meals or storing snacks. The front desk staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help—so welcoming! They even treated us to a complimentary bowl of beef noodle soup upon check-in, and it was delicious—rich broth, tender meat, and perfectly cooked noodles. Housekeeping came by daily on time and kept everything immaculate. The neighborhood around Keqiang Alley is full of local gems—street food that’s fresh, flavorful, and totally worth exploring. Everything about this hotel screams value for money. It’s clean, modern, thoughtfully designed, and feels like home. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nanjing.

During the holiday, she even opened a bottle of wine for us and personally guided us to a nearby night market, sharing great local food tips along the way. Atour Hotel Nanjing Presidential Palace

We stayed in Nanjing for five nights, and after two less-than-satisfying days elsewhere, we switched to this hotel for the last three—and it was a perfect upgrade. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was spotlessly clean, and all amenities were modern and well-maintained. One small but thoughtful touch: there’s a display on the TV showing how many washing machines are available at any time, so you don’t waste time walking down only to find them all in use. That little detail made laundry day stress-free. The location is fantastic—right next to Liu Chang Xing for great local food, and just a short walk from key attractions like the Presidential Palace, Six Dynasties Museum, Piliu Temple, and the Comfort Station Exhibition Hall. We didn’t get a chance to visit the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre this time, but I’m already planning a return trip—definitely coming back here. Oh, and while booking through the platform, it mentioned complimentary late-night porridge. We didn’t ask for it, so we missed out—but if you’re staying here, don’t forget to request it! It’s a nice surprise worth taking advantage of.
