Located just a 10-minute walk from the Taj Mahal—about 700 meters—this place is perfectly situated for exploring one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. I especially loved the on-site dining experience: local dishes served in a communal setting, which made sharing meals with fellow travelers feel natural and fun. I had a great first visit to Agra and stayed at Capital O 4012 Hotel Agra Cantt, and while the hotel itself scored only 3 out of 5 for me, the staff experience was truly outstanding. I accidentally left behind a brand-new pair of expensive shoes when checking out, and by the time I realized it, I was already back in Delhi. I called the hotel, and to my surprise, Mr. Akram personally went through the records, checked the lost-and-found, and managed to locate my shoes! It was such a relief and incredibly thoughtful. His effort made a huge difference and turned a small oversight into a memorable highlight. That said, the bathroom facilities and water quality weren’t up to standard, which is why I can’t give the hotel a higher rating. Still, if you're visiting Agra, this place offers solid value, especially with staff like Akram who go above and beyond. Definitely worth considering.
