Our stay at Somerset Xindicheng Xi'an was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The moment we arrived, staff greeted us warmly and even helped carry our luggage—so welcoming! The front desk team went above and beyond by gifting our elderly parents a pair of herbal massage mallets, which they loved so much they asked for another the next day. When one of our parents wasn’t feeling well, the team kindly allowed us to take breakfast back to the room—such thoughtful flexibility. Housekeeping staff always smiled and said hello, making us feel truly at home. The pool is exceptional—crystal-clear water with perfect temperature, far better than many other hotels we’ve stayed in. It’s definitely a must-visit spot. The fitness center is top-notch, equipped with modern machines, plus there’s a sauna, table tennis, and even snooker—a fantastic bonus for relaxation and fun. We traveled with our parents in their 80s, and the staff were incredibly attentive and considerate throughout. The option to request an extra bed made the space even more comfortable for family travel. Our room was spacious and fully equipped with kitchenware and a washing machine—perfect for longer stays. We’ve stayed here before and this visit only confirmed why we keep coming back. The room itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with friendly and responsive staff who made me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. What stood out most was the great value—price-wise, it’s very competitive for the quality offered. The only minor downside is the slight traffic noise from the nearby main road, but it’s not bothersome, especially with earplugs. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely recommend it to friends and would stay here again on my next trip to Xi'an.
