Even though there was some renovation work going on nearby, my room was very quiet with almost no noise disturbance, so I slept well. The view from the window was stunning—direct sight of Xinghai Square and the sea-crossing bridge, perfect for photos. Getting around was convenient; it’s about a 15-minute walk to the nearest subway and bus stops, making city exploration easy. Breakfast was included and available at the adjacent Homeinn Business Hotel, where they offered a good variety: noodles, rice, congee, milk, and more—plenty of options to choose from. It’s definitely a great value for money. I’d absolutely stay here again if I come back to Dalian.

That said, the food quality stood out: the pastries were excellent, juices and milk options were plentiful, and the hot dishes were flavorful despite limited choices. The braised pork belly with potatoes was rich and aromatic, while the steamed shrimp were large and fresh. One area for improvement? The fruit wasn’t very sweet, and the quality could be better. But cleanliness was spotless—no issues there. The location is truly special: perched on a hill overlooking the sea, it’s one of Dalian’s iconic landmarks. Nighttime photos are absolutely stunning, and walking down to the city takes about 10–15 minutes—quiet and peaceful, though not directly next to a subway station. Taxis are easy to catch. The rooftop garden on the fifth floor is a hidden gem, perfect for relaxing or just enjoying the view. The lobby itself is grand and beautifully designed—every corner is photogenic.
