Staying at Mini-Hotel Old Moscow was a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers in central Moscow. The location is unbeatable—just a short metro ride from major attractions and business hubs. Even though the room is compact, it’s spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with a comfortable large bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The bathroom had everything I needed, including quality toiletries. What stood out was the small kitchenette—perfect for brewing coffee or preparing quick meals, which saved me money and gave me flexibility. The staff were genuinely attentive and welcoming, making me feel at home. Clean, quiet, and well-located, this little gem offers incredible value. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Moscow, whether for work or just a relaxed getaway.
We ended up in Moscow unexpectedly—definitely not part of the original plan. Arriving late, we had to scramble for a quick place to stay for just two nights. After calling ahead and confirming a room, the front desk girl mentioned payment was only in cash. We spent ages searching for ATMs around the city, while constantly getting calls from the manager checking if we’d actually show up. When we finally arrived, a young woman greeted us—clearly eager to go back to bed. Our stay was from the 13th to the 15th, but we were charged for three full days. We didn’t catch it at first because we were exhausted and just wanted to collapse into bed. No one offered any guidance or let us choose a room—even though there were clearly multiple available. The room was freezing cold. The TV worked only sporadically. The bathroom mirror was cracked, the shower door had a gap causing puddles every time we took a shower. Dirty, cloudy glasses sat on the table with no water inside—completely pointless. Mold was visible along the windowsill and walls near the window. The towel had stains and fuzz balls all over it. Noise insulation was terrible—every sound from the hallway or next room came through loud and clear. We checked out early in the morning. No one was at the front desk, so instead, a security guard came to inspect the room—without saying a word. We dropped off the key and left immediately since we were rushing to catch our flight. For 4,000 rubles per night—especially with photos that make it look better than it really is—we could’ve easily found something far more comfortable and reliable. These pictures are just a small fraction of what I captured. Honestly, I’m really disappointed we chose this hotel. It wasn’t worth the price, the experience, or the stress.
This cozy and stylish hostel is absolutely perfect for exploring Moscow. The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to the metro and only 7–10 minutes to Red Square. All major attractions are within easy walking distance, and you're surrounded by culture—right next to the Bolshoi Theatre and packed with great restaurants. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and welcoming. Every detail made our stay enjoyable, and we’re already planning to come back. Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, charm, and value.
I stayed at Napoleon Hostel in Moscow and was really impressed. It's perfectly located—right in the heart of the city but tucked away on a quiet street, so you get convenience without the noise. The hostel is quite new, which shows in how clean and well-maintained everything is. Honestly, I’d rather stay here than in one of those old-school Soviet-style hotels that charge double the price and feel worn out. Plus, the area (Kitai-Gorod) has seen a surge in hostels lately—most are housed in residential buildings, tucked into small alleys, which makes the neighborhood super peaceful. For me, that quiet atmosphere is a game-changer. If you're looking for a central yet serene spot with modern amenities and great value, this place is definitely worth a try.
Staying at Mamaison All-Suites Spa Hotel Pokrovka was a perfect fit for my travel style—especially with the kitchenette in the room. Having access to basic cooking facilities made it so much easier to prepare simple meals, which was great for saving money and enjoying some home-style comfort during our trip. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Moscow, just a short walk from public transit and major attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the overall ambiance felt luxurious yet welcoming. It’s rare to find such a well-balanced mix of convenience, comfort, and quality—this hotel truly stands out. I’d definitely book here again.
Staying at Mys Boutique Hotel in the heart of Moscow was an absolute highlight of my trip. The location is unbeatable—right in the city center with endless restaurants, cafes, and bars just steps away. Whether you're into vibrant nightlife, spontaneous sightseeing, or simply enjoying a leisurely walk through the streets, this hotel is the perfect base. The room itself was stunning—modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with plenty of space. The bathroom was huge, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bedding felt luxurious. I especially appreciated the well-equipped fitness center for those who want to stay active during their stay. The staff at reception were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Their warm hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. If you're looking for a chic, convenient, and high-quality stay in Moscow, this hotel delivers on every level. Highly recommended!
Staying at Swissôtel Krasnye Holmi in Moscow was an absolute highlight! The view from the room was breathtaking—city lights stretching out below, perfect for a relaxing evening. What really impressed me was that the fitness center, sauna, and swimming pool were all included in the rate—no extra fees, just pure convenience. I even snapped a photo from the 34th-floor bar, which offered an incredible panoramic view of Moscow. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a full experience. If you’re looking for comfort, great amenities, and unforgettable views, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers.
The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the metro and surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and local vibe. The hotel itself is spotless, with a clean, modern design that feels both stylish and welcoming. The room was spacious, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—great bed, excellent lighting, and everything you'd want for a relaxing stay. Staff were attentive and friendly without being overbearing, always ready to help. It’s rare to find such a well-balanced mix of convenience, comfort, and quality. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Moscow.
Staying at Petr I Hotel was a wonderful experience. The restaurant offered a 20% discount on dinner, which was a nice touch—though we couldn’t use our Chinese bank card for payment at the restaurant, so it’s best to carry cash in Russian rubles. The basement level features a great pool, well-equipped gym, and a relaxing steam room—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The room itself is spacious at 25 square meters, with an impressive ceiling height of 3.4 meters, giving the space a really open and airy feel—total volume comes in at around 85 cubic meters. Located right in the heart of Moscow, it’s just a 5-minute walk to the Moscow Theatre, making sightseeing super convenient. Yes, the area gets busy with traffic and crowds, but security is top-notch—felt very safe throughout our stay. Overall, excellent value, great location, and a fantastic base for exploring the city.
Staying at Metropol Hotel was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by its prime location right in the heart of Moscow and the exceptional breakfast at the hotel’s own Restaurant 'Metropol'. The ambiance is elegant yet welcoming, with a fantastic selection of fresh, delicious dishes that set the perfect tone for the day. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall charm. It’s not just a place to stay—it feels like a true home away from home. I’d absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moscow.
Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The staff were incredibly friendly and all spoke fluent English, making communication seamless throughout our visit. Located in the heart of Moscow, it's just a short walk to Red Square, the Kremlin, GUM Department Store, and the State Historical Museum—perfect for exploring on foot. Public transportation is also super convenient if you want to go further. The location is unbeatable, offering both comfort and easy access to everything the city has to offer. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Moscow who wants a central, well-serviced base with excellent value.
Staying at Baltschug Kempinski Moscow was an absolute delight. Located right on the banks of the Moskva River and just a short walk from Red Square—only a few hundred meters—this hotel offers unbeatable convenience. The interior is elegant and timeless, with a luxurious vibe that immediately sets the tone. I especially loved the indoor swimming pool, which is spacious and well-maintained, plus there’s a soothing hot tub perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the city. The breakfast spread was exceptional—fresh, diverse, and full of delicious options, from traditional Russian treats to classic continental fare. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, making this stay feel truly special. If you're visiting Moscow, this is one of those rare hotels where luxury meets location in perfect harmony.
