Plus, it’s right next to Dayuecheng Shopping Mall, so dining, shopping, and entertainment were all within easy reach. We were upgraded to a larger room for free upon check-in—something the friendly front desk staff did without hesitation just because we were traveling as a couple. That small gesture really made our stay feel special. The room itself was spotless, well-maintained, and very quiet, making it perfect for a good night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable—perfect for gaming, especially when I played Honor of Kings without any lag. My friend and I had a triple room the previous night, and it was just as clean and quiet. The location is ideal: a 7-10 minute walk to the nearest metro station, and super close to major attractions like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Muslim Quarter. Quiet neighborhood, great value, and very convenient. I’ll definitely be returning here on my next trip to Xi’an.

We stayed at Mehood Hotel (Xi'an Dayan Pagoda Great Tang All Day Mall Branch) during the off-season with our kids, and it was a fantastic experience overall. They also provided little kid-sized slippers, which my children loved. Room service was prompt, and everything arrived quickly. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but I have to say the fried eggs were absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, soft inside. The hotel has a free parking lot, which made exploring the city by car super convenient. We were disappointed we couldn’t get tickets to the Shaanxi History Museum—it’s notoriously hard to book—but the front desk staff immediately suggested some great alternative attractions that were perfect for families. Their recommendations were thoughtful and helpful. With its excellent location near the Tang Paradise area, friendly staff, and attention to detail, this hotel offers incredible value. Definitely a top pick if you're visiting Xi’an with kids.
