My stay at Yeoksam Cullinan was disappointing overall. The room wasn’t clean—there were visible stains on the sheets and surfaces, and it felt like basic hygiene standards weren’t met. Noise was a major issue too; I could hear conversations and movements from neighboring rooms, especially during the night, which made it hard to sleep. The light switches were also broken—some didn’t work at all, and others required excessive pressure to turn on. For the price we paid, this experience fell far short of expectations. Considering the cost, the value simply wasn’t there. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and well-maintained stay, I’d recommend exploring other options.
The Riverside Hotel
The Riverside Hotel is incredibly convenient, located just a 5-minute walk from Exit 5 of Sangam Station. If you're coming from the airport, taking the bus to Sangam Station and walking back toward the hotel is super easy. The location is perfect for exploring Seoul—everything is within reach. I loved waking up to views of the Han River from my room; it's peaceful and scenic. The breakfast was satisfying and well-balanced. One thing I noticed right outside the station exit is a popular grilled meat restaurant that’s always packed—definitely worth trying if you’re craving something tasty. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, this place offers great value and a relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Seoul.

Staying at this hotel was an excellent experience. The building is brand new, and the cleanliness is outstanding—every corner felt spotless, almost too pristine to use! The room was comfortable and well-designed, making it a perfect base for exploring Seoul. It’s conveniently located near subway stations, so getting around the city is super easy. One small note: first-time visitors might struggle to find the entrance, as it’s not very visible from the street. Also, there’s ongoing construction in front of the building, which means some noise from 8 AM to 5 PM. That said, it’s a minor inconvenience compared to the overall quality. Great value, great location, and a truly refreshing stay—definitely recommend!

Fairmont Ambassador Seoul
The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. A heartfelt thanks to that kind soul for making our stay so much more personal and welcoming.
Dongjak (Daebangdong) Hyu
I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.
