This Jinjiang Inn Style location in Shanghai's North Bund exceeded my expectations. The hotel is incredibly well-located—just a short walk from the Bund and minutes away from metro access, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Even though the furnishings are slightly dated, cleanliness is outstanding: the room was spotless, the bathroom fresh, and the bed linens comfortable and crisp. Internet speed was impressive—perfect for video calls or streaming without buffering. Staff were friendly and helpful, even offering to securely store my luggage before my late-night flight. With so many restaurants and street food options nearby, dining out was a breeze. For the price, this is an unbeatable value. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Shanghai.

In fact, it outshines many newer hotels I’ve stayed at in terms of comfort and overall condition. Its location near Lujiazui is ideal—just a short walk to the financial district and convenient access to public transit. For travelers looking for a quiet, well-kept place with great value, this is definitely a top pick. I’ll be back next time I visit Shanghai.

This hotel has been everywhere on Little Red Book lately, and after staying here, I totally get why. Walking into the lobby felt like stepping into a vintage Shanghai film—deep burgundy sofas paired with Bauhaus-inspired furniture create such a unique, nostalgic atmosphere. The whole place radiates that 90s 'old money' elegance, beautifully done without feeling over-the-top. The suite was enormous, offering plenty of space and a luxurious feel. The executive lounge is top-notch too—great service, delicious snacks, and a quiet, classy vibe. Every detail feels intentional and well-executed. Honestly, this is one of those rare stays you just want to repeat. If I'm back in Shanghai, this will be my go-to choice. Definitely a must-visit.
