Showwa no yado Tsuchiya

I absolutely loved my stay here—this place truly exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The traditional Japanese atmosphere is so authentic and peaceful, with beautifully designed rooms that blend modern comfort with timeless charm. Location-wise, it's perfect: just a short subway ride to downtown Nagoya, and everything I needed (restaurants, convenience stores) was within walking distance. The staff went above and beyond—helping with luggage, offering local tips, and making sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find such a serene, well-kept inn with such attention to detail and genuine care. The 10/10 rating isn’t just deserved—it’s an understatement. Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel

Staying at Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station and perfectly positioned for exploring downtown Nagoya and nearby attractions. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the front desk team—the smiles were genuine, and every question was answered with warmth and patience. During check-in, we chatted briefly about recent visitor trends, and it was touching to hear how much they miss the Chinese travelers; it’s a reminder of how travel brings people together. While there’s a small inconvenience—like needing to cross the street to reach the nearest convenience store—it’s a minor trade-off for such a well-located, high-quality stay. Overall, the service, comfort, and atmosphere make this hotel a top choice for any traveler visiting Nagoya.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Shōnin shopping district, making it easy to explore local restaurants, boutiques, and attractions just a short walk away. Despite having over 500 rooms, the atmosphere remained calm and well-managed, with no sense of overcrowding. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. What impressed me most was the value—luxury amenities and top-tier service without the premium price tag. Nagoya Kanko Hotel

The Nagoya Kanko Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! I stayed in the modern-style room, which felt incredibly spacious and well-designed—like a mini apartment ready for immediate move-in. The bed was generously sized, and the layout made great use of every inch: kitchenette with full appliances, a working washing machine, and a surprisingly large bathroom. While I loved the contemporary vibe, I actually preferred the vintage room—it has this elegant old-money charm with subtle details that really stood out. It’s not just about comfort; it’s about atmosphere and character. Both rooms were excellent, but the retro option gave me that timeless, refined feeling. For the price, this is an outstanding value. I’d definitely book again—this hotel delivers on both style and practicality.

What really stood out was the thoughtful touch of the complimentary facial mask and skincare set—such a nice surprise! I used the mask right after arriving, and my skin felt instantly smoother and more radiant. It’s rare to find such a great balance of comfort, style, and value. This hotel delivers beyond expectations—highly recommend for anyone visiting Nagoya.

THE TOWER HOTEL NAGOYA

As a lifelong resident of Nagoya, I’ve always had a deep affection for the TV Tower—known as the Chubu Electric Power Mirai Tower since childhood. This trip was especially meaningful because it was planned as a surprise birthday celebration for my husband. From the moment we arrived at THE TOWER HOTEL NAGOYA, every detail felt thoughtful and personal. The room’s elegant design, comfortable layout, and panoramic views of the city were simply breathtaking. The staff went above and beyond with warm smiles, genuine care, and effortless hospitality—always ready to help without being intrusive. The highlight? A delicious breakfast crafted by the French head chef. Every bite was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. To top it all off, they even wrote a heartfelt 'Happy Birthday' message on the window—such a touching and unexpected gesture that made the whole experience unforgettable. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an emotional journey wrapped in comfort, elegance, and genuine kindness. 10/10 without hesitation.

Nikko Style Nagoya

Staying at Nikko Style Nagoya was a fantastic experience overall. The location is convenient—just a straight walk from Meitetsu Station, making it easy to get around by train or on foot. There are plenty of local eateries nearby, including ramen shops and yakitori spots, so dinner options are never an issue. What really stood out was the spacious room with modern, well-maintained amenities. Cleanliness is top-notch; every time I hung the 'Please clean' card, the staff returned the room spotless with fresh towels, replenished toiletries, and water bottles. They even included essentials like makeup remover, facial cleanser, moisturizer, and face cream—truly thoughtful. A little extra touch would be adding a moisturizing cream for winter dryness, but otherwise, it’s already ahead of the game. If needed, they offer hair curlers at the front desk—very handy! One small note: the showerhead nozzles had some black residue buildup, which could use more regular cleaning. But honestly, this tiny detail doesn’t take away from the excellent quality of the stay. Great value, great comfort, and a hotel I’d definitely return to.

Mitsui Garden Hotel Nagoya Premier

I came back to the hotel after check-out and was warmly welcomed by the staff, who immediately reminded me that my luggage had already been brought up to the room. Even more thoughtful, they found and returned a bracelet I’d accidentally left behind—such a kind gesture! This time, my room had a different view, but the layout and furnishings remained exactly as I remembered from my previous stay—comfortable and elegant. I still enjoy my daily visit to the on-site bathhouse, which is the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Nagoya. The sunset at 4:30 PM was absolutely stunning—captured it for you all!
