Yixuan Anlai Hotel (Expo Park, Chengshan Road Metro Station, Shanghai Branch)

This stay completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the metro station and nearby shopping areas, making it perfect for both business trips and casual outings. The room was spotless and meticulously clean, down to the smallest details. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent—truly a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and efficient; they even offered welcome fruit upon check-in and responded instantly to any request, making me feel truly valued. Breakfast was abundant and fresh, and the self-service laundry and high-speed Wi-Fi were thoughtful touches that added real convenience. Every aspect of this stay felt well thought out, and the value-for-money ratio is outstanding. I’ve already recommended it to friends, and I’ll definitely be coming back here on my next visit to Shanghai.

Zidu Hotel

First time visiting Shanghai and stayed at Zidu Hotel—really impressed! The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room isn’t large, but it’s well-organized and cozy. The bedding was clean and warm, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Hot water pressure was excellent—great for a relaxing shower—and the heating system worked flawlessly, keeping the room comfortably warm even during cooler evenings. Location is fantastic: just a 10-minute walk to Longyang Road Metro Station, so getting around the city is super easy. Within 300 meters, there’s a lively food court with plenty of local eats—perfect for grabbing dinner without having to go far. Overall, great value for money and a truly pleasant stay. I’d definitely come back if I’m in Shanghai again.

The value here is absolutely outstanding—no wonder it was packed during New Year’s holiday. The dinner buffet at 1188 Restaurant was incredible: unlimited fresh snow crab, salmon, sweet shrimp—all top quality and more than enough to satisfy any food lover. Despite the heavy crowd and high pressure on staff, the team handled everything with remarkable calm and efficiency. It’s rare to see such professionalism under busy conditions. Staying in the hotel during chilly weather, enjoying great food, and just unwinding—it felt like the perfect balance of comfort and indulgence. Special shoutout to Xiao Xu (Xiao X) at reception—quiet but incredibly effective, with that classic Shanghai sense of understated excellence. This place truly captures the spirit of Shanghai, and I’d definitely come back.

The room was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a restful night's sleep. The pillows were surprisingly cozy, and I actually slept better than I expected. The lobby has a modern, calming vibe with thoughtful details everywhere. The front desk staff were genuinely warm and attentive, always ready to help without being intrusive—so considerate! Location is excellent: just a short walk to the World Expo site and easily accessible to Lujiazui via subway. Everything about this stay felt seamless and premium. I’ve stayed at several Atour properties before, and this one stands out as one of the best. Definitely my go-to choice for future trips to Shanghai.

SAVHE HOTEL SHANGHAI WORLD EXPO

Honestly, this was a total surprise! I originally booked three places—near Disneyland (around $80), a luxury urban retreat ($380), and SAVHE Hotel Shanghai World Expo. I never expected the most memorable stay to be the $80 one. The room was spacious, beautifully designed with warm wood tones, and filled with natural sunlight that made it feel incredibly cozy. The service stood out—after adding the concierge on WeChat, I could request laundry pickup/delivery, tea and snacks, yoga sessions, package forwarding, and even reservations at nearby Yuan Gu Muso Restaurant. I had lunch in the Instagram-worthy wooden cabin downstairs—so photogenic and peaceful. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. This wasn’t just a place to sleep—it was an experience. With such great value and attention to comfort and convenience, I’d definitely come back without hesitation.

LJZ Supreme Tower Hotel(SHANGHAI New International Expo Centre)

The LJZ Supreme Tower Hotel is an excellent choice for travelers visiting Shanghai. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with attentive staff who go the extra mile to ensure guests feel welcome. Housekeeping service every day keeps the room spotless and fresh. Located just a 15-minute walk from Longyang Road Metro Station, it’s super convenient to get around—Longyang Square nearby offers a wide variety of dining options, from local street food to upscale restaurants. Getting to Lujiazui takes only about 30 minutes by metro, and the airport is easily reachable within an hour. We stayed with three people, and the room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate us all—no cramped feeling at all. The location, cleanliness, service, and value for money all score high. It's definitely a top pick for business or leisure travelers, and I’d happily stay here again.
