Gran Melia Chengdu

Staying at Gran Melia Chengdu was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff went above and beyond—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm. Special mention to Kevin Bai, the front office manager, whose thoughtful service made a real difference. He remembered our preferences and checked in on us throughout the stay, which felt incredibly personal. The lobby lounge is elegant and relaxing, perfect for unwinding with a drink or just enjoying the ambiance. The beds were heavenly—luxuriously comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. We celebrated New Year’s Eve here, and the whole atmosphere was magical. The hotel’s location is great, easily accessible by metro, and the overall luxury combined with such genuine hospitality makes this a top-tier choice. I’d return in a heartbeat.

This was my first stay at Chengdu Tianfu Plaza Haoiar Hotel, and it completely changed my perception of the city for the better. I was especially impressed by the cinema-themed room — the design is unique and stylish, exactly my kind of vibe. After checking several options, I chose this hotel mainly because of its unbeatable location: the metro entrance is right at the building’s doorstep, making it super easy to reach places like People's Park and the local museum. Breakfast was outstanding — abundant, fresh, and included handmade wontons and authentic bean curd pudding. The bathroom was well-maintained with perfect water temperature and strong shower pressure. But honestly, what stood out most was the bed — incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. I actually considered buying the same set! Plus, the room had zero unpleasant odors upon entry — just clean, fresh air. Overall, an exceptional experience with great value and attention to detail. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chengdu.

Staying at Dorsett Chengdu (Chunxi Road & Wenshu Temple Branch) was an absolute pleasure. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the metro station, making it incredibly convenient whether you're here for business or leisure. The front desk staff, especially Xiao Zhang and Manager Mao, were warm, professional, and efficient during check-in. Room assignment by Manager Zhou was spot-on—quiet, comfortable, and well-maintained. Their attention to detail and genuine care made the whole experience stand out. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtfully handled. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chengdu—highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

Breakfast was especially thoughtful—offering both Chinese and Western options, hot dishes, pastries, and everything you’d want to start your day right. After a full day of exploring, coming back here felt like stepping into a quiet sanctuary. The peace and comfort made all the difference. Absolutely loved my stay here! The hotel is perfectly located—right next to a metro station, making it super easy to explore Chengdu’s top attractions and shopping areas. The space was bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed with smart features that added real convenience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby all night. Everything about the cleanliness stood out—from the bathroom to the floors, no corner was overlooked. What really impressed me was how quiet the room was despite being in a bustling area; the soundproofing is excellent, so no noise from the street disturbed my rest. There are tons of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores just steps away, which makes daily life super convenient. This place offers incredible value for money—luxury amenities without the luxury price tag. I’d definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu.

The gin tonic was quite strong—gave me a pleasantly dreamy feeling, which actually added to the charm! What truly stood out was the attention to detail from the staff. Our concierge, Xiao Wang, called ahead to confirm room preferences and arranged everything perfectly. During our stay, he followed up proactively about replenishing amenities—so thoughtful! And the fitness center? Absolutely top-tier. It has a body fat scale that lets you print out your results anytime—such a smart feature I’ve never seen before. It makes tracking progress effortless. From location to service to facilities, every aspect exceeded expectations. This hotel delivers luxury without compromise—definitely a place I’ll return to.

Yuluxe Hotel Chengdu

We happened to be in the Jian She Road area exploring local street food, and after trying a few delicious snacks, we decided to stay at this Yuluxe Hotel, part of the Shimo group. The lobby on the 32nd floor is spacious and offers great city views—very impressive right from arrival. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished with modern amenities. Our check-in experience was smooth, thanks to the friendly and efficient front desk staff. Special shoutout to Xiao Ya and Xiao Gou—they upgraded our room without hesitation, arranged a late check-out, and even gave us a cute souvenir: a Sanxingdui-themed fridge magnet. It’s such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. Overall, the service, location, and value were outstanding. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and a personal touch in Chengdu.

Upon check-in, the staff kindly upgraded us to a room with a balcony offering stunning city views—plus a complimentary fruit basket that made our stay even more welcoming. What really stood out was the thoughtful meal schedule: breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks are all available throughout the day. As someone who loves food, I couldn’t resist trying a bit of everything—truly a treat for any foodie. The room layout is smart and functional, with excellent cleanliness and little touches like high-quality toiletries and skincare products. The TV supports screen mirroring—perfect for work or relaxing with a movie. After a long day of exploring, I ordered takeout; the delivery guy brought it to the lobby, and then a robot delivered it straight to my room. Absolute heaven for lazy travelers! And yes, this was my second visit—and my second Pagoda panda souvenir upon checkout. That’s not just coincidence, that’s destiny. Can’t wait to come back.

The location is perfect, nestled in a serene area where golden ginkgo trees line the grounds, creating such a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere that instantly lifts your mood. The facilities are top-notch—especially the two indoor heated pools, which were perfect after a long day exploring. A post-swim sauna session felt absolutely luxurious. The room itself was spacious, bright, and beautifully designed with high-quality furnishings that added to the comfort. I felt completely relaxed from the moment I stepped in. Because of how wonderful the stay was, my entire Chengdu visit became more enjoyable and memorable. I’ll definitely be returning next time I come to the city. And the executive lounge? Absolutely worth a visit—when I came back late from the Panda Research Base, it was the perfect spot to unwind with a wide variety of delicious snacks and drinks, served with great attention. Galaxy Minyoun Chengdu Hotel

The location is unbeatable—everything I needed was within walking distance, and the nearby metro station made getting around the city a breeze. Taxis were also readily available. Special shoutout to Manager Xiao Li and front desk staff Xiaowei—they were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with warm smiles. Our room was on a high floor, offering quiet surroundings, excellent cleanliness, and a wonderfully comfortable bed with just the right firmness. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed.
