The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the room was spotlessly clean and neatly arranged—perfect for a relaxing stay. I felt completely at ease from the moment I walked in. Its central location near Dongdaemun makes it super convenient for shopping and exploring the city, especially with easy subway access. The comfort and value here are outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever visit Seoul again!

This was my second visit to Korea, and I’m still head over heels for this hotel. It’s incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Dongdaemun, making it easy to explore the city by subway or on foot. The room was much larger than expected, offering great space and comfort. One small note: don’t forget to bring your own toothbrush, as it’s not provided. But everything else was top-notch. The fish cake soup downstairs is hands down one of the best I’ve had in Korea—warm, flavorful, and authentic. Right across the street is a dumpling shop run by a Northeast Chinese couple, and their dumplings are absolutely delicious—plump, juicy, and perfectly steamed. I highly recommend both! If I ever return to Seoul, this will be my go-to hotel again. A fantastic stay with excellent value and charm.
World Stay Hotel Sungshin Univ.
I stayed at World Stay Hotel Sungshin Univ. for one night and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out—always ready to help with any questions or requests. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials I needed. Located just steps from Sungshin University Station, it’s super convenient for getting around Seoul via subway. The location is quiet yet central, making it a great base for exploring the city. Excellent value for money and a comfortable stay overall. I’d definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Seoul.
Starhostel Dongdaemun Suite
I’ve stayed here before and really liked it, so I came back again. The location is fantastic—Dongdaemun Market is just a short walk away, making shopping and dining super convenient. They offer luggage storage both before check-in and after checkout, which is super helpful. The room is slightly smaller than an Toyoko Inn but perfect for just sleeping—no issues at all. It comes with a TV, air conditioning, hairdryer, mini-fridge, tissues, two towels, shampoo, and body soap. The bathroom and shower are shared, and the water pressure is a bit weak, but still manageable. They also provide laundry service for around 7,000 KRW. Breakfast is available too, and there’s a convenience store nearby—very handy. Most importantly, the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be back!
Sarang Guesthouse Dongdaemun
This was my first time visiting Seoul for a concert, and staying at Sarang Guesthouse Dongdaemun turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly cozy for the price—definitely great value. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering local tips and even helping with transport arrangements. The location is perfect: literally steps away from the subway station, making it super easy to get to the concert venue in under 30 minutes. Right outside the guesthouse, there’s a GS25 convenience store, and other chains like 7-Eleven and CU are just a short walk away—perfect for late-night snacks or essentials. With its unbeatable location, clean rooms, and welcoming atmosphere, this place is ideal for travelers attending concerts or exploring the city on a budget. I’d absolutely stay here again if I come back to Seoul. Highly recommended!
Global Inn Dongdaemun Citydays Inn
Staying at Global Inn Dongdaemun Citydays Inn was a great experience. The location is incredibly convenient—just steps away from Line 1 subway, making it super easy to head straight to Incheon Airport. Even though the room is on the smaller side, it’s clean, quiet, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated being able to store my luggage securely, which made my travel plans much more flexible. The neighborhood is lively with plenty of local eateries and convenience stores nearby. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value and comfort—definitely a top choice if you're visiting Seoul and want a no-fuss, practical stay.

The hotel is excellent overall—great location, super convenient for getting around Seoul, and the staff are very friendly. My only confusion was that I booked a two-night stay, but I had to check out on the second day and couldn’t recheck in until after 6 PM. That timing restriction felt a bit odd and wasn’t clearly explained upfront. Still, the team handled it well, and even though I had to move my luggage, it didn’t ruin the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and the value for money was strong. Definitely would stay here again.

Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station Hotel Stay-IN
Checked in late at night, but the front desk staff were still very attentive and made the process super smooth. The team was friendly and even upgraded our room without any hassle—definitely a pleasant surprise. We appreciated the small touches like individually packaged skincare items, which felt thoughtful and added to the overall comfort. While it has a motel-like vibe with its compact layout, the attention to detail, cleanliness, and service quality make it feel much more premium. It’s definitely not your average budget stay—great value for the price, and I’d happily book again if I’m back in Seoul.

Just a 1-minute walk from Exit 8 of Dongdaemun History & Cultural Park, this hotel is perfect for shopping and exploring the area. The place was incredibly clean and well-maintained, giving a very welcoming vibe. The bathtub was spacious and so relaxing—perfect for unwinding after a long day of sightseeing. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Seoul. Great value and comfort in one!
Sungshin University Station Pav
The first room had a strong smell of smoke, which was quite unpleasant, so I asked to be moved. The staff were very kind and promptly arranged a new room without any hassle. However, the second room wasn’t much better—the bathroom felt a bit dark and slightly unsettling, and the overall facilities were just average. That said, the price is definitely affordable, making it a solid choice if you're on a budget. It’s perfect for students or travelers looking for a no-frills stay with good value. While not luxurious, it gets the job done, especially considering the cost.

Staying here for four consecutive nights made me seriously consider extending my trip! The room was spotlessly clean, and the shower area was much larger than expected—very spacious and well-designed. The underfloor heating made winter stays incredibly comfortable; I never felt cold even during chilly evenings. Location-wise, it's unbeatable—just a five-minute walk to the subway station, putting every major attraction and shopping area within easy reach. Quiet and peaceful throughout the stay, even when the hostel was full. I’ve noticed that accommodations in Seoul tend to raise prices on weekends, but booking during weekdays offers fantastic value. This place is a gem for budget-conscious travelers who want comfort and convenience. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Seoul—highly recommend!
