This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed this time around. Right across from the hotel is Bus 6001, which runs directly to the airport—perfect for early flights or late departures. The room was spotless, spacious, and had a wonderful bathtub that made for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming, always offering help with a smile. Plus, it’s just a short walk to the subway station, making it easy to get around Seoul. Great location, excellent comfort, and top-notch service. This place really delivers on every front—definitely a go-to choice for any visit to Seoul.

We arrived around 2:00 PM, and since our room was already cleaned, they offered us a free early check-in without hesitation. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with three-prong outlets that worked perfectly with my Chinese plug—no need for a travel adapter at all. There's a fridge, modern bathroom fixtures, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Located in a quiet residential area, the neighborhood is full of authentic local gems. The famous Dongsan Galbi (the same spot as G-Dragon’s favorite) is right downstairs—seriously delicious. And just steps away, there’s a GS25 convenience store for snacks and drinks. Everything you need is within walking distance. From comfort to convenience, this hotel delivers on every level. I’d definitely stay here again—truly one of the best stays I’ve had in Seoul.

Staying at Dongdaemun Hotel was a great experience, especially thanks to the unbeatable location. Just steps from both Line 1 and Line 4 subway stations, getting around Seoul is super convenient—plus there are plenty of bus routes nearby, which I took more often than not. The hotel itself feels fresh and modern after recent renovations. One small downside: the bathtub has only about one-third glass enclosure, so water tends to splash out during use, which can be a bit messy. Also, the bathroom floor gets slippery easily when wet, so extra caution is needed. Water temperature in the shower fluctuates—sometimes too hot, sometimes too cold—so you’ll need to adjust frequently. On the bright side, there’s a power outlet right beside the bed, making charging devices super easy. Breakfast is simple but surprisingly generous: bread, cornflakes, milk, juice, instant noodles, and coffee—great variety for a basic spread. For airport transfers, I’d recommend taking the subway over the Airport Bus (Route 6002). The bus runs almost to its final stop and takes over an hour, followed by a 6–8 minute walk. The subway is faster and much more direct. Plus, the area is packed with restaurants, street food stalls, and fashion shopping spots—perfect for exploring on foot. Overall, excellent value and a very convenient base for any visit to Seoul.

The front desk signage is clear and well-organized, which immediately sets a positive tone upon arrival. What truly stood out was the staff's professionalism and genuine care. When I was unsure how to use the laundry machines, a front desk attendant kindly approached me to explain step by step. They also helped me with transportation questions, offering thoughtful recommendations for getting around the city. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist made a big difference in my experience. The service exceeded expectations, and the value for money is outstanding. The hotel is excellent overall—great location, super convenient for getting around Seoul, and the staff are very friendly. My only confusion was that I booked a two-night stay, but I had to check out on the second day and couldn’t recheck in until after 6 PM. That timing restriction felt a bit odd and wasn’t clearly explained upfront. Still, the team handled it well, and even though I had to move my luggage, it didn’t ruin the experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and the value for money was strong. Definitely would stay here again.
