This was my second stay at this charming little apartment, and I can confidently say it’s just as wonderful as the first. The location is unbeatable—just a quick turn around the corner and you’re right in the heart of Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, surrounded by shops, street food, and endless exploration opportunities. Right downstairs are some legendary local eateries: Baihua Desserts, Dayang Soup, and Taoyuan Claypot Rice—all of which delivered authentic Cantonese flavors that far surpass anything I’ve had in Beijing. Honestly, this trip reminded me why Guangzhou is truly a food lover’s paradise. Even though it’s tucked away in an older residential neighborhood, the host has done an amazing job with the interior design—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. Stepping inside instantly calms your mind after a busy day. My favorite part? The spacious balcony. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy morning coffee, or unwind with a drink under the evening sky—serene despite being in the middle of the city bustle. Staying at SEAMEN Club was a pleasant surprise. The river-view room is bright and airy, with plenty of natural light pouring in—perfect for enjoying the views of the Pearl River. While some of the facilities feel a bit dated and the bed is on the smaller side, everything else about the stay was great. The location is unbeatable—just steps from Haizhu Square Metro Station, making it super easy to explore Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and nearby attractions. The self-service breakfast is simple but satisfying, with warm options and fresh drinks. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and good value without the high price tag.

Borrman Hotel (Guangzhou Railway Station Sanyuanli Metro Station Store)

I absolutely love this hotel! The stay was fantastic from start to finish. The room was spotless and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to unwind. What stands out the most is the location—right next to the metro station, so getting around Guangzhou is super easy. I’ve already planned my next trip just to stay here again. There are plenty of nearby clothing markets, perfect for picking up some trendy outfits without needing to go far. The area is also full of great local eateries—I highly recommend the Bangladeshi restaurants just a short walk away; the food is delicious and authentic. I especially appreciate the complimentary breakfast and free access to laundry machines, which is such a bonus for longer stays. My friend and I have made it our go-to choice whenever we visit Guangzhou. Highly recommended for both convenience and value.

Boke Shijai Boutique Apartment (Guangzhou Beijing Road Pedestrian Street Yuexiu Shiguang)

I've stayed here multiple times and it never fails to impress. The location is unbeatable—right next to Tuan Yi Metro Station, making it super easy to explore Beijing Road, Shamian Island, and other key spots in Guangzhou. The apartment itself is clean, well-designed, and feels like home. I love the private washing machine and fridge—perfect for longer stays. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views, especially at night when the Pearl River lights up. Free toiletries are a nice touch. And the food scene nearby? Absolutely fantastic. There are several long-standing local favorites right outside the door—authentic Cantonese flavors you won’t find anywhere else. Great value, great vibe, and definitely worth returning.
