Her professionalism and smooth handling of the process made everything quick and stress-free. But beyond just efficiency, she radiated kindness and genuine care. It’s rare to find someone who combines such polished service with a welcoming personality. Molly truly made my stay feel special right from the start. Pan Pacific Xiamen

We stayed at Pan Pacific Xiamen with our kids and booked the adorable Minion-themed room—so much fun! From the moment we walked in, everything was covered in cheerful yellow duck motifs. Despite being a slightly older five-star property, cleanliness was outstanding—so clean that we didn’t even need to unpack our own sheets or pillowcases. Our room was consistently tidy thanks to the amazing housekeeper, Ms. Ye Meilan, who went above and beyond with her attention to detail. The front desk staff, especially Miss Huang Jinhua, was incredibly helpful—we asked if she could print out our child’s homework, and she did it right away without hesitation. The whole hotel exudes that classic old-money elegance, with thoughtful touches everywhere—from the decor to the service. It’s clear they care about every guest experience. A truly memorable stay, highly recommended for families looking for comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality.

Without hesitation, I booked it—and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond: warm, personal greetings, seamless assistance with luggage, and even a thoughtful farewell gift—a box of Jinlan pastries that made the departure feel special. The complimentary guided tour was a highlight—led by a lifelong local who shared fascinating stories behind the island’s architecture, adding real depth to our visit. In the evening, invited to the Sunset Tea Room, I enjoyed a quiet moment sipping tea while watching the sun dip below the horizon, with views stretching across Xiamen and Zhangzhou. The conversation with the host revealed the building’s rich history—something you’d never learn from a guidebook. And then, the little surprise: a delicate charm left on the bed during turndown service. It stayed with me long after. Breakfast was equally impressive—elegant buffet-style with both Western and Chinese options, served wherever you wanted: your room, the garden, or the dining area. Located just steps from Zhongshan Road, this hotel offers unbeatable convenience—shopping, dining, and local charm are all right outside your door. A short walk left leads to bus stops with routes like 100 and B100, giving easy access to key sights like the Xiamen University campus, Nanputuo Temple, and the Botanical Garden. The hotel is also just a quick walk from Xiamen Ferry Terminal; if you miss the ferry, a short taxi ride takes you to Dongdu Terminal without hassle. There’s ample free parking on-site, which is a huge plus for travelers driving in. The room was spotless, quiet, and well-equipped with reliable power outlets—small touches that make a big difference. Staff at reception were warm, attentive, and professional, reflecting the legacy of a true established five-star property. This is one of those rare stays where everything clicks—perfect location, thoughtful amenities, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended.

Lujiang Mega Hotel

Stayed at Lujiang Mega Hotel during New Year's in Xiamen and was completely blown away by the experience. The location is unbeatable—right next to Zhenzhu Bay Beach, perfect for families with kids who love digging in the sand and enjoying the sea breeze on a bike ride. The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—always smiling, ready to help, and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and they even included a complimentary afternoon tea, which was such a nice surprise. The outdoor pool and dedicated family-friendly activity space made it ideal for both relaxation and fun. My kids had a blast, and I felt completely recharged. This hotel truly delivers on every level—comfort, convenience, and service. I’d absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Xiamen!

Check-in was a bit stressful at first, but the on-duty manager handled everything with great empathy and professionalism. After a calm conversation, the issue was resolved smoothly—and they even surprised me with afternoon tea, evening entertainment, and a bottle of wine. The next day’s airport transfer was excellent too; driver Andy was friendly, courteous, and helped carry my luggage without being asked. We had a pleasant chat throughout the ride. A few suggestions for improvement: the afternoon tea selection was limited, and the fruit—especially the watermelon—wasn’t very fresh. Dinner options were also quite narrow. The room stayed chilly despite running the heater all night—temperature barely reached 15°C, so adding a heating option would be helpful. Also, breakfast was missing some items, and they weren’t replenished promptly. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The staff responded quickly to feedback, and the views from the room were stunning—especially sunrise in the morning. One small disappointment: no capsule or instant coffee available, which is common even in budget hotels. Adding that would make the stay much more convenient for guests who rely on coffee.
