We came to Changsha for a concert and stayed at ST-Tropez Hotel — and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in China. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations on nearby attractions and even giving us a nice welcome gift. The complimentary shuttle service was super convenient — just call, and they’d arrive right away. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a peaceful atmosphere, and our room was spotless, fully equipped, and very comfortable. What really stood out was the personal touch from our dedicated housekeeper, Xiao Tang. She reached out before check-in to ask about our preferences, made sure everything was ready, and even brought fresh fruit upon arrival. She followed up throughout our stay to see how we were doing — so thoughtful and genuinely caring. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely recommend this place to friends and will be back again soon.

Breakfast was a highlight—wide variety of options, both local and international, with fresh ingredients and good quality. Location is excellent: right next to the metro station, making it super easy to explore popular spots like Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain. Right outside the hotel, there's a great local Hunan restaurant and another one called 'Yan Changsha'—highly recommended but requires advance booking. With such convenience, great food nearby, and top-notch service, this place offers incredible value. Definitely planning to come back.

They served a variety of dishes, and I especially loved the local stinky tofu—it was bold, flavorful, and totally worth trying. Skyer Gold Coast Hotel

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient—just a 5-minute walk to Ma Chang Metro Station, making it easy to explore downtown Changsha without hassle. The area around the hotel is well-connected with plenty of dining options and shopping spots nearby. The room was spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out was the exceptional service—front desk staff were patient, friendly, and attentive during check-in, answering all my questions with care. It felt like being welcomed into a home away from home. With such great value, comfort, and hospitality, I’d definitely stay here again.

Holiday Inn Express Changsha Hunan Museum

I always choose Holiday Inn Express for my trips, and this stay was no exception. I picked this location near the Hunan Museum, and it couldn’t have been more convenient—just a short walk from major attractions. When I checked in, I asked if an upgrade was possible, and Xiao Liu at the front desk immediately said yes, upgrading me to a spacious open-concept king room at no extra cost. The room was bright, clean, and very comfortable. Changsha itself is vibrant and full of charm—the city feels alive, the locals are warm and welcoming, and there’s so much to explore. From history to food, everything here delivers great value. I’ll definitely be back.

Echarm Hotel

I stayed at Echarm Hotel near Changsha World Window and the Guangdian Exhibition Center for Huang Zihongfan's concert, and it was an absolutely perfect choice. The hotel is just a 10-15 minute walk from the venue—super convenient, especially when you don’t want to stress about transportation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They even handed out little gifts as a thoughtful touch—such a sweet surprise! Clean rooms, great location, and genuine hospitality made this trip memorable. If you're coming to Changsha for a concert or event, this hotel is definitely worth booking without hesitation.

Vienna International Hotel

Staying at Vienna International Hotel (Changsha Runhe Plaza Ma Chang Metro Station) was an excellent experience overall. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional—genuinely deserving of a raise! Housekeeping was top-notch, with the cleaning team arriving promptly every day and keeping the room spotless. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the metro station, making it easy to reach all major attractions without hassle. The hotel is quiet and well-insulated, so I slept soundly throughout the night. My only minor suggestion: breakfast options are quite limited. On one occasion, I arrived at 9 a.m. and found no porridge left—only eggs and a few side dishes. It would be great if they could expand the menu or ensure better availability during peak hours. Despite that small drawback, the service, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches made this stay truly memorable. I’ll definitely book here again on my next trip to Changsha.
