Staying at Lake Sight Design Hotel in Xiamen was an absolute delight from start to finish. We stayed for several nights, and every moment felt relaxing thanks to the quiet surroundings and excellent location. Everything was within easy reach, and I especially loved walking around Baituizhou Lake just downstairs—the views were stunning, especially at sunset. One of the little touches I truly appreciated? Free tea service in the room! It’s these thoughtful details that make a big difference. If you’re visiting Xiamen, this hotel should be at the top of your list. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Brother Li’s presence carried a powerful, authentic energy that set the tone for our entire stay. Listening to their life story—how they built this place from the ground up in Xiamen—was truly inspiring. Their journey from Wujing Mountain and Sea Camp to the current retreat isn’t just a business; it’s a living testament to the resilience and spirit of Minnan culture. This isn’t something you read in a museum or see in a documentary—it’s real, raw, and deeply human. The setting itself feels like stepping into a Studio Ghibli film: quiet, poetic, and effortlessly beautiful. Walking through the garden, you’re greeted by lush green lawns, playful dogs running free, and endless views of the ocean stretching beyond the horizon—all natural, unforced, and full of soul. And then there’s the food: Auntie’s slow-cooked pig stomach lotus root soup, and the rustic charcoal-fired rice—simple yet profoundly comforting. Every bite reminded me why I love traveling. The family is genuinely kind, full of heart, and each member adds their own charm—especially the older brother trying so hard to impress (and succeeding!). I leave with nothing but gratitude and heartfelt wishes for this wonderful family and their sanctuary. May Wujing continue to grow, thrive, and inspire others just as it did me.

We first visited Gulangyu 13 years ago and stayed at Yuanshazhou — now, bringing our daughter along for a family trip to Xiamen, we chose this villa again without hesitation. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the pier yet peaceful and quiet, far from the city noise. We especially loved meeting the resident cat, Chunfu, who added such a warm, homely touch. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From cleanliness to comfort, every detail exceeded expectations. Originally, I considered pulling out due to a scheduling conflict, but seeing the cancellation fee made me decide to just go ahead and stay. And honestly? It was worth every minute. I brought my international girlfriend here to experience Xiamen University and the local vibe, and being so close to campus, the seaside, and the famous Zengcu’An night market made it perfect. There’s fresh seafood everywhere—literally on every corner. The moment we arrived, the host family welcomed us warmly with genuine smiles. They’re super attentive and always ready to help. The room itself is spotless and incredibly quiet—ideal for a good night’s sleep. Free washing machine access plus a spacious balcony for drying clothes? Yes please. Even underwear can be hung inside the room thanks to the built-in hanger, and natural light floods in. I even used the rooftop balcony to dry laundry overnight—it dried completely by morning. Hot water was plentiful, no issues there. But the real highlight? Breakfast. I had my first-ever seafood noodle soup here, and wow—the broth was rich and deeply flavorful. Honestly, better than any ramen I’ve had in Japan. If you're ever visiting Zengcu’An again, I’ll definitely bring more friends from abroad. The location is perfect—right behind the bustling local food street, so grabbing breakfast or snacks in the morning is super easy. I especially loved the complimentary breakfast—simple but fresh and satisfying, giving me a great start to the day. And when checking out, they kindly stored my luggage for me, which made my departure stress-free. Everything about this experience felt thoughtfully done. Lujiang Mega Hotel

Stayed at Lujiang Mega Hotel during New Year's in Xiamen and was completely blown away by the experience. The location is unbeatable—right next to Zhenzhu Bay Beach, perfect for families with kids who love digging in the sand and enjoying the sea breeze on a bike ride. The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—always smiling, ready to help, and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and they even included a complimentary afternoon tea, which was such a nice surprise. The outdoor pool and dedicated family-friendly activity space made it ideal for both relaxation and fun. My kids had a blast, and I felt completely recharged. This hotel truly delivers on every level—comfort, convenience, and service. I’d absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Xiamen!

C&D Hotel Xiamen

This was my second stay at this hotel, and the experience was just as excellent as the first time. During New Year's period, the hotel was lively with plenty of family-friendly activities that kept the kids entertained. The guest manager, Xiao Luo, went above and beyond—she reached out before check-in to confirm details and checked in regularly during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. On checkout day, she even arranged a late departure without hassle, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The housekeeping staff were thorough and attentive, leaving no corner untouched. Every team member we interacted with showed genuine warmth and professionalism. From start to finish, the service felt personal and caring. It’s a perfect choice for families or anyone looking for a welcoming, well-run hotel. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others.
