Staying at Seaview Resort Xiamen was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The property boasts modern facilities, a serene environment, and a convenient location near the coast without being too far from city amenities. Breakfast was excellent—plentiful and tasty. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff, especially the personal care provided by the concierge. During New Year’s holiday, the hotel was nearly full with families traveling with kids, which made for some evening noise that even good soundproofing couldn’t fully block out—disrupted my sleep significantly. I also have a sensitive stomach, so lack of rest only worsened things, and I couldn’t handle heavy or greasy meals. That’s when the team stepped in with kindness: they proactively arranged a room transfer to the quieter Water Pavilion area, which made such a difference. To top it off, they brought me a warm bowl of soft, comforting congee with light side dishes right before bedtime. It wasn’t just food—it felt like care. I’ve never felt more looked after during a stay. This level of thoughtful service is rare, and it completely turned my experience around. I’ll definitely be returning.

On departure, each bag was neatly labeled and left at the pier’s Suxiaotang shop under professional supervision—no stress at all. The sea-view afternoon tea in the century-old villa was pure bliss. Though listed as for two, it easily served our group of four—delicate tea, delicious pastries, fresh fruit, all enjoyed while overlooking the ocean. Service was surprisingly smooth despite having only one staff member handling everything: remote inquiries, check-in, room service—all while being a first-day employee. Yet he remained calm, friendly, and efficient. Room amenities were spot-on: kid-friendly slippers, a full laundry setup with washer and dryer, plus a drying rack. Free umbrellas are available throughout the property—such a nice touch. And location? Unbeatable. Our balcony offered direct sea views, and the beach is just a 200-meter stroll away—perfect for families with kids. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm.

My room had a warm red palette paired with bamboo accents and herringbone wood flooring—very much rooted in Fujian style while still feeling luxurious and modern. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a complimentary minibar and fresh welcome fruit, and the Happy Hour offering a variety of salads, snacks, fruits, and local delicacies was a real highlight. I upgraded my room, and over three days, the service remained consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. There was a minor hiccup during my stay, but my hostess Bettie handled it with remarkable sincerity—she apologized promptly, offered a small gift as a gesture of goodwill, and even included a local specialty. The location is perfect—walking distance to Bai Cheng Beach, Hulishan Fort, and the coastal road, with buses stopping right outside. The room was modern, clean, and well-maintained. I did have a minor issue during check-in, but Ashley from the concierge team handled it instantly and with such warmth and professionalism that it turned into a highlight of my stay. Breakfast was an absolute treat—especially the sate noodles, rich in flavor and served fresh every morning. I ended up eating them daily just to start the day right. This hotel offers excellent value and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be back.

Sitting on the balcony overlooking Gulangyu Island’s sea views was pure relaxation. The memory foam pillow was perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The front desk staff, especially Miss Hong Anqi, was incredibly kind and friendly—so sweet, I asked for an empty card as a keepsake, and she personally picked out the latest one for me. The housekeeping team also responded quickly whenever needed. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a memorable experience. I’ll definitely come back every time I visit Xiamen. Sheraton Xiamen Hotel

Our New Year’s trip with my mom and grandmother was absolutely perfect. Since we were traveling with an 83-year-old, convenience and comfort were top priorities—especially easy access to public transit and rooms with two queen beds. After checking several options, the Sheraton Xiamen on Jiahua Road stood out as the ideal choice. It’s just a short walk from two metro stations, and there are bus stops nearby for easy access to various destinations. SM City Plaza is within walking distance—great for dining and shopping. Special thanks to Jerry for upgrading us to a quieter room at the end of the corridor; it was peaceful and noise-free, which made for excellent rest, especially for our elderly family members. Our booking included breakfast for two, but Jerry kindly arranged an extra breakfast for my grandmother—delicious and well-balanced, with authentic local flavors that changed slightly each day. The bathroom design was exceptional: spacious, functional, and completely leak-proof—a rare find! My mom and I were both truly impressed. This stay exceeded expectations in every way.
