As a cat lover, I can't recommend this place enough! The inn has four adorable cats that come to greet you as soon as you open the door—so friendly and playful, with soft little meows that instantly melt your heart. The staff even upgraded my room without any request—such a sweet surprise! Just steps away is hilive Coffee, perfect for a cozy photo shoot with its charming aesthetic and festive Christmas decorations. Located near the iconic Qianyu Pier, it’s super convenient for exploring the city by subway. Everything about this stay was exceptional—warm, thoughtful, and full of character. Definitely coming back!

The suite itself is perfect for groups: a spacious four-bedroom, one-living-room layout comfortably fit all seven of us. Each room is bright and airy, with crisp cotton bedding that made for a restful night after long days of sessions. High-speed Wi-Fi kept everyone connected without lag, even during group video calls, and the fully equipped kitchen—including stove, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine—made self-catering a breeze. The apartment sits right by the sea, and even on a cloudy morning, the misty coastal breeze gives it a peaceful, almost dreamy vibe. While we didn’t catch the sunrise, the atmosphere was still incredibly serene and beautiful. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and offered great value for the price. Waking up early lets you enjoy a quiet walk nearby, soaking in the fresh air and calm surroundings. Overall, this place strikes the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and affordability—highly recommended for travelers who want a laid-back seaside escape.

Qingdao Sky Villa Hotel (May Fourth Square)

The hallway and bathroom could use a little update, but the room itself was spotless—so clean that even with my usual pickiness about hygiene, I felt completely at ease. The bedding was exceptionally clean and super comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Best of all, the view from the window is fantastic—overlooking May Fourth Square with great cityscape views during the day and beautiful lights at night.
