The Ritz-Carlton South Beach

I had such a wonderful experience at The Ritz-Carlton South Beach—so much better than the negative reviews I’d read beforehand. I was actually nervous about the room quality and service, but everything exceeded my expectations. The room was brand new, beautifully designed with a modern, elegant touch, and incredibly spacious. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive—they even remembered my last name, which made me feel truly valued. Location is fantastic too—walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and the beach. It’s not just luxurious; it’s also an amazing value for what you get. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Miami Beach.

Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel

From the moment we walked in, the staff at Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel greeted us with genuine warmth and a smile. The room was compact but spotlessly clean—perfect for a quick getaway. The pool area is well-designed with all the essentials, though the lounge chairs were packed tightly together. That said, the complimentary beach chairs made up for it—nothing beats lounging right on the sand with the ocean breeze. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the shore and easy to get around by public transit. We loved every minute of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we’re ever back in Miami Beach.

The Pavilion Residences

We stayed for a full month at this property, and honestly, the only redeeming factor was the ocean view—period. If you're on the street side, I can't speak to that, but our unit faced the water, and that alone made it worth it. However, everything else fell completely short. The constant construction was a major headache—work went on nonstop, and no one seemed to be informed. I spoke with at least ten other families, and not a single one had been notified about the ongoing building projects. When I called the owner, he said, 'It’s only from 9 to 4, it won’t be disruptive.' Seriously? It was extremely disruptive—noise levels were unbearable. A local resident told me the hallways have been under construction 'for years'—no end in sight. I could go on listing the various noisy, intrusive renovations, but it gets repetitive. Then there’s the fines: $100 per incident. Open your sliders or windows? You’re fined. Not wearing a shirt? Fined. Not wearing shoes? Fined. Security literally stood on the boardwalk or beach taking photos of every open window or balcony door. Why would you come to the beach and not open the windows? This wasn’t mentioned upfront—completely misleading. The unit itself was a mess. Dirty, mismatched linens, insufficient towels for four people—we ended up buying new ones at TJ Maxx. Missing closet door, tiles missing in the shower, sharp edges everywhere. I bought a shower mat just to protect our feet. The balcony furniture was ripped and falling apart. The list goes on. It’s clear the owners are purely here to make money—zero concern for guest comfort or well-being. Both of us have been sick for the past two weeks, and we suspect it’s due to the malfunctioning AC. Reading other reviews, we noticed many consistent complaints. I wish I’d read more before paying for a month-long stay—it’s something I deeply regret.

The Setai, Miami Beach

I’ve stayed at countless hotels around the world, but The Setai Miami Beach truly stands out. Located just steps from the beach, I could walk to the water in under five minutes—perfect for morning strolls and watching the sunrise. The room was elegant yet calming, with plush bedding that made falling asleep effortless. Subtle scents in the air added a touch of luxury, making the whole experience feel like a retreat. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, always ready to help with directions or recommendations. It’s rare to find such comfort, style, and genuine hospitality all in one place. For the price, it’s an absolute steal. I’ll definitely be returning next time I visit Miami—and I’m already telling friends about this gem.

The overall experience was excellent! There was a minor authorization issue upon check-in, but the staff handled it quickly and professionally—everything was resolved smoothly without any hassle. The team went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—huge variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious options from both Western and international cuisines. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: steps away from South Beach, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Public transit is also nearby, making exploring Miami Beach effortless. Great service, amazing vibe, and fantastic value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Miami Beach.

Faena Hotel Miami Beach

Staying here for the second time was just as magical as the first! Faena Hotel Miami Beach continues to be my absolute favorite in Miami—elegant, luxurious, and effortlessly stylish. From the moment you step in, the service is impeccable, the rooms are spotless, and the ocean views are breathtaking. The hotel’s restaurant, helmed by renowned Argentine chef Francis Mallmann, offers an unforgettable grilled cuisine experience—perfectly charred, rich in flavor, and definitely worth a visit. I also tried the omakase menu, which was incredibly creative and featured some of the freshest ingredients I’ve had in a long time. Every detail feels intentional and refined. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway or a luxury escape, this place delivers on every level. It’s not just a stay—it’s a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Nobu Hotel Miami Beach

Staying in the ocean-facing room was absolutely worth it—the views were breathtaking, with endless blue stretching out from the private balcony. The room itself was spacious and beautifully designed, making it a perfect retreat after a day on the beach. The beach service was excellent, with attentive staff offering towels and umbrellas without hassle. Even though there were some algae along the shoreline, it didn’t detract much from the overall experience. The location is fantastic—walking distance to great restaurants and local hotspots. This hotel offers an unbeatable combination of luxury, comfort, and seaside charm. Definitely a top pick for anyone visiting Miami Beach.

Eden Roc Miami Beach

We stayed at Eden Roc Miami Beach with the family, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The property is beautifully designed with lush greenery and direct access to several pools and a serene spa pool—perfect for relaxing after a day on the beach. The location is ideal: just steps from the sand, and easy to reach downtown via public transit. Our only minor issue was parking—we left the public lot a bit late and got a fine, likely because weekends are busy and paid parking became the only option afterward. Still, this didn’t take away from our overall satisfaction. The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious and stylish, and the ambiance felt luxurious yet welcoming. For families or couples looking for a peaceful, upscale retreat in South Beach, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

The Miami Beach EDITION

Arrived at The Miami Beach EDITION around 10 a.m. and was pleasantly surprised when the front desk immediately checked me in—despite the Marriott app stating check-in wasn’t available until 4 p.m. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made the experience feel personal from the start. This place truly feels like a resort, with an impressive range of amenities: billiards, bowling alley, spacious pool, private beach access, and even an ice rink! Inside the room, the minimalist design stood out—clean lines, soothing ambient scent, high-end Lelabo bath products, and plush disposable slippers. For a hotel in North America, the level of comfort and attention to detail is exceptional. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious escape right on South Beach without sacrificing convenience or style, this is an outstanding choice. It’s not just a stay—it’s a vibe.

Loews Miami Beach Hotel

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel is absolutely stunning—our stay was nothing short of perfect. We booked a partial ocean view room in the main building, originally expecting the 17th floor but were assigned the 15th, which still offered a lovely angled view of the sea from the window. The hotel has two buildings—the main one recently renovated and very modern, while the secondary wing features oceanfront rooms. After reading reviews praising the main building’s fresh design and ambiance, we were glad we chose it. The entrance is framed by palm trees, and the lobby feels grand and welcoming. A charming side path leads to the pool area, flanked by fountains that look magical at night. The pool itself isn’t huge, but it’s well laid out with rows of lounge chairs. Just step through the exit, and you’re right on the beach—so convenient! On day one, we spent hours soaking up the sun, taking photos, and playing in the waves. The hotel provides complimentary lounge chairs and towels, though umbrellas cost an extra $30—still worth it for the comfort. Later, lounging by the pool, we enjoyed live music performances and free snacks like chilled mango cubes, strawberry smoothies, and icy coconut milk—small portions, but incredibly refreshing. There’s also free ice-cold water, sunscreen, and towels available all day long. On day two, we woke up early to catch the sunrise on the beach—a breathtaking moment. But the real highlight was breakfast. At $46 per adult (kids $22), our room included two servings, and the variety and quality were outstanding. Fruits were enormous—blueberries and blackberries sweeter than anything I’ve had in the Bay Area—and every melon tasted perfectly ripe. It felt like such incredible value. Plus, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Lincoln Road, where evening strolls are delightful. If I’m ever back in Miami, this will be my go-to choice without hesitation.

Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach

The location is absolutely stunning—right on the beach with a spacious, comfortable room that feels like a retreat. They provide free loungers, towels, and water, which is such a thoughtful touch. Even though checkout is at 11 AM, you’re welcome to stay on the beach until evening, which gives you plenty of time to enjoy the sun and surf. The on-site restaurant is fantastic—diverse menu with delicious, well-prepared dishes. From breakfast to dinner, every meal felt special. It’s clear the team cares about guest experience. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm. I’ll definitely be back.
