The Grand Hotel Sharm El Sheikh
We stayed at The Grand Hotel Sharm El Sheikh at the end of November 2025 and had an absolutely wonderful time. Upon arrival in the morning, we were warmly greeted by Ahmed at reception, who kindly informed us that check-in would be at 2:00 PM and directed us straight to breakfast. Our room, 472, was located just a short walk from the main building—while not brand new, everything worked perfectly and was clean and comfortable. We only spent nights there, but it was more than enough. The property itself is beautifully landscaped, lush with greenery and well-maintained throughout. The coral reef nearby is stunning, teeming with fish—perfect for snorkeling. Dining was one of the highlights: the food was delicious, varied, and plentiful. We enjoyed sushi, prawns, beef, chicken, fresh fish, chocolate fountains, cakes, pastries—you name it, they had it. Staff were attentive and efficient, always quick to refill water or tidy up. The bar team—Mustafa, Ali, Ayma, Mohammed—were incredibly friendly and creative with cocktails, served with bottled beer and packaged juices. The beach staff were equally welcoming, especially bartender Nicolas, who made every visit a pleasure. Daily entertainment was lively and engaging—yoga sessions, dance classes, games, contests, and fun group activities led by energetic team members like Shiko, Alisa, Polina, and others. In the evenings, the rooftop hosted guest performers followed by a DJ party that ran until midnight. The only minor issue was room cleaning—we left tips, but towels weren’t changed, and the housekeeper only topped up water and adjusted the bedding. Despite that small oversight, our overall experience was outstanding. My husband and I loved every moment and are already planning to return next year. Highly recommend this hotel—wishing it continued success and growth!
