The Somerset Palace Seoul completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. This was my sixth trip to Korea, and without a doubt, this is the most impressive hotel I've stayed at here. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, the bus stop is right outside the door—making access to the city incredibly convenient. The room was immaculate, with modern design and thoughtful touches that made it feel luxurious. The staff were warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. From the quiet ambiance to the excellent amenities, every detail felt intentional. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
Arirang Hill Hotel Dongdaemun
Staying at Arirang Hill Hotel Dongdaemun was a fantastic experience. Located right outside Exit 4 of Seoul Subway Line 4, the hotel offers unbeatable convenience for getting around the city—everything from shopping districts to local eateries is just a short walk away. The area is vibrant and full of options, whether you're looking for trendy boutiques or authentic Korean food. Inside the hotel, everything is well-maintained: the front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and the room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable with excellent attention to detail. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work—every time I returned to my room, it felt freshly tidied up. With such a great location, reliable service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I’ll definitely be choosing this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul.
ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong(Newly renovated in 2025)
This was our first trip to Seoul, and we stayed at ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong with my son from July 30th to August 5th. We arrived late—after 2:30 a.m.—but check-in was quick and smooth thanks to the 24-hour front desk. Our room was on the 10th floor, compact but well-designed with two beds, a tea station, and all the essentials: soap, shower gel, shampoo, and fresh towels. The room was spotless, quiet, and cozy—the bedding felt brand new and super comfortable. The hotel itself is immaculate, peaceful, and very clean. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. What really stood out was the location—walking distance to major landmarks like Gyeongbokgung Palace, plus tons of restaurants, food courts, and shops nearby. Even though we spent most of our days out exploring, coming back to this hotel felt like a relaxing retreat. It’s perfectly priced for the quality, and I’d definitely recommend it. If you're visiting Seoul, don’t hesitate—this is a great choice.
PungGyeong, Korea Traditional House
Staying at this traditional Korean house was an absolute delight! The breakfast was simple yet homely—warm, comforting, and just right to start the day. The room was spotlessly clean, with authentic Korean architectural details that truly captured the essence of old Korea—wooden beams, hanok-style layouts, and a peaceful ambiance. The host was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, offering thoughtful tips on local transport and nearby attractions. It felt less like a hotel and more like staying in a cherished family home. For anyone looking to experience real Korean culture in Seoul, this is a must-try. Highly recommend for its charm, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality.
Mangrove Sinseol
I stayed at Mangrove Sinseol Hotel for a few days and was really impressed. The location is perfect—right next to the subway station, just a 15-minute ride to Seongsu and about 30 minutes to Hongdae. The airport bus 6002 stops right outside, making travel super convenient. There are plenty of nearby convenience stores like 7-Eleven, CU, OY, Mega, and Mammoth—no long lines even during peak hours. The building has a secure entry with a password lock, and the elevator requires your room keycard, which adds peace of mind. The shared kitchen is clean and well-maintained, and the rooftop terrace offers a great view—perfect for relaxing in the evening. Check-in and check-out are fully self-service, and the machine supports Simplified Chinese, which is a big plus for introverted travelers. The bathroom is on the smaller side, and housekeeping comes every six days, but that’s not an issue if you’re staying just a few days. Overall, it’s a quiet, safe, and well-designed place with excellent value. Highly recommend for solo travelers.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the room was spotlessly clean and neatly arranged—perfect for a relaxing stay. I felt completely at ease from the moment I walked in. Its central location near Dongdaemun makes it super convenient for shopping and exploring the city, especially with easy subway access. The comfort and value here are outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever visit Seoul again!

Stayed here with my friend in a private two-bed room, and it was absolutely fantastic! The air conditioning worked perfectly, the room was spotless, and the beds were super comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find a mini fridge included—such a nice touch for storing drinks or snacks. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. But honestly, the top reason to stay here is the location. Right next to a metro station, you're just steps away from amazing local eateries, bustling streets, and everything the city has to offer. It’s such a convenient and vibrant area. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-maintained hostel with great service and unbeatable access, this is the place. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

Staying at Dada Hotel Ihwa-dong was a great experience, especially thanks to its unbeatable location. Just a 6-minute walk from Exit 5 of Jongno 3-ga Subway Station, it’s only one stop away from major attractions like Myeongdong, Gwanghwamun, and Gyeongbokgung Palace—perfect for exploring the heart of Seoul. The self-check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The room itself is compact but spotlessly clean, and considering the price point, it’s a fair trade-off. One minor downside is the sound insulation—occasionally you can hear luggage wheels rolling in the hallway, but it’s not disruptive. Conveniently, there are two convenience stores (GS25 and 7-Eleven) right nearby, making late-night snacks or essentials easy to grab. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value and a comfortable stay in a prime area.
