The Somerset Palace Seoul completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the subway, making it easy to explore Seoul’s top attractions. This was my sixth trip to Korea, and without a doubt, this is the most impressive hotel I've stayed at here. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, the bus stop is right outside the door—making access to the city incredibly convenient. The room was immaculate, with modern design and thoughtful touches that made it feel luxurious. The staff were warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. From the quiet ambiance to the excellent amenities, every detail felt intentional. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong(Newly renovated in 2025)
This was our first trip to Seoul, and we stayed at ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong with my son from July 30th to August 5th. We arrived late—after 2:30 a.m.—but check-in was quick and smooth thanks to the 24-hour front desk. Our room was on the 10th floor, compact but well-designed with two beds, a tea station, and all the essentials: soap, shower gel, shampoo, and fresh towels. The room was spotless, quiet, and cozy—the bedding felt brand new and super comfortable. The hotel itself is immaculate, peaceful, and very clean. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. What really stood out was the location—walking distance to major landmarks like Gyeongbokgung Palace, plus tons of restaurants, food courts, and shops nearby. Even though we spent most of our days out exploring, coming back to this hotel felt like a relaxing retreat. It’s perfectly priced for the quality, and I’d definitely recommend it. If you're visiting Seoul, don’t hesitate—this is a great choice.

This was my first stay at Mayplace Hotel, and I was genuinely impressed. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. While the nearest subway station is a bit of a walk away, it’s not a major issue considering how quiet and convenient the neighborhood is. Public transport access to major attractions is still good, and there are plenty of nearby dining and shopping options. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and I’d definitely come back. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family—this place truly stands out.
Mangrove Sinseol
I stayed at Mangrove Sinseol Hotel for a few days and was really impressed. The location is perfect—right next to the subway station, just a 15-minute ride to Seongsu and about 30 minutes to Hongdae. The airport bus 6002 stops right outside, making travel super convenient. There are plenty of nearby convenience stores like 7-Eleven, CU, OY, Mega, and Mammoth—no long lines even during peak hours. The building has a secure entry with a password lock, and the elevator requires your room keycard, which adds peace of mind. The shared kitchen is clean and well-maintained, and the rooftop terrace offers a great view—perfect for relaxing in the evening. Check-in and check-out are fully self-service, and the machine supports Simplified Chinese, which is a big plus for introverted travelers. The bathroom is on the smaller side, and housekeeping comes every six days, but that’s not an issue if you’re staying just a few days. Overall, it’s a quiet, safe, and well-designed place with excellent value. Highly recommend for solo travelers.

Hotel DM is an absolute gem in Seoul! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the subway and airport shuttle, making travel to and from the city a breeze. What really stood out was the front desk staff who spoke fluent Chinese—when I said "Hello," their surprised yet welcoming reaction made me feel instantly at home. We arrived around 2:00 PM, and since our room was already cleaned, they offered us a free early check-in without hesitation. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with three-prong outlets that worked perfectly with my Chinese plug—no need for a travel adapter at all. There's a fridge, modern bathroom fixtures, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Located in a quiet residential area, the neighborhood is full of authentic local gems. The famous Dongsan Galbi (the same spot as G-Dragon’s favorite) is right downstairs—seriously delicious. And just steps away, there’s a GS25 convenience store for snacks and drinks. Everything you need is within walking distance. From comfort to convenience, this hotel delivers on every level. I’d definitely stay here again—truly one of the best stays I’ve had in Seoul.

Staying at Five Hotel Jongno was an absolute pleasure. The location is perfect—just a short walk from major attractions and public transit, making exploring Seoul super convenient. The hotel environment is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—especially the guy at the counter, who had a great smile and made check-in feel personal. Daily room cleaning is a nice touch, keeping everything fresh and tidy throughout the stay. Two girls sharing a room felt just right—plenty of space, comfortable beds, and good lighting. Only thing to note: if you’re traveling with two large suitcases, it’s a bit tight to open both at once on the floor, but that’s a minor detail. Overall, this place offers excellent value and a memorable stay. Definitely coming back next time I visit Seoul.

My daughter absolutely adored him—he made her feel special with his kindness and playful personality. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. Staying at G Mini Hotel Dongdaemun was a solid experience overall. That said, cleanliness was a bit of a concern; the towels felt used and not properly washed, and there were hairs scattered on the floor. It’s disappointing given how great everything else is. Still, with its unbeatable location, modern vibe, and budget-friendly rates, this place offers strong value for money. If you’re okay with bringing your own basics and don’t mind a slightly less-than-perfect clean-up, it’s definitely worth considering.
