Hotel Grand Karat Sochi
Staying at Hotel Grand Karat Sochi was a truly enjoyable experience. Located right by the seaside, the hotel offers stunning views and a refreshing atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, with excellent cleanliness standards that made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. There are plenty of restaurants nearby—perfect for dining out without having to travel far. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and friendly service, always ready to help. Breakfast was satisfying with a good variety of options and decent quality. The only downside was some construction noise from the adjacent site during daytime hours, which could be slightly disruptive. However, this didn’t significantly affect the overall experience. With its prime beachfront location, excellent service, and great value, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. It’s also very convenient for getting around town via public transit.

This place is truly peaceful and secluded—exactly what I was looking for. The hotel’s design concept is unique: one floor represents fire, another air, and the third earth. We stayed on the air floor (the top level), which offered breathtaking views, a light and airy atmosphere, and smart room technology that made everything so convenient. The spa experience was outstanding—my wife loved it. The pool was warm and perfect for relaxing, floating, or just soaking up the sun in quiet solitude. I’d have loved to explore the water-themed floor too, but it was undergoing renovation, so I’ll definitely check it out next time. In Sochi, it’s rare to find such a calm retreat without noisy kids disrupting the peace—here, you can truly unwind and reconnect with yourself. The restaurant was excellent—the food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Every detail felt intentional and well-executed. 10/10—this is a gem worth returning to.

Breakfast is excellent: diverse, fresh, and delicious every morning. It’s clear that attention to detail and guest comfort are top priorities here. A standout choice for anyone looking for an authentic, high-quality stay in Sochi.

Staying at this apartment-hotel was a delightful surprise! Located just steps from the beach, the sound of waves at night is incredibly soothing—especially when the wind picks up and the ocean roars gently in the background. Perfect for families, the layout is practical and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking a breeze. I appreciated not having to rely on restaurants every meal. The area is lively but not overwhelming, with plenty of nearby accommodations and quiet bars for evening drinks. Across the street is a restaurant called pro-xuhkyli, which serves buns similar to Chinese-style ones—tasty and worth trying! With its unbeatable location, peaceful atmosphere, and great value, this place easily earns a 10/10. I’d definitely come back.
Sunrise Guest House
We came to Sochi for our spring break and spent a while searching for a room that could comfortably accommodate two kids at a reasonable price. The family room was perfect! It’s ideal for children under 10—slightly tight if they’re older, but still very functional. What stood out was the private fenced area with security cameras—great peace of mind while the kids played safely outdoors. I loved relaxing with a coffee on the covered green terrace, just enjoying the quiet atmosphere. The location is super close to the beach, which is a big plus—even though we couldn’t swim in April, we already know exactly where we’ll stay next time. The whole experience was excellent, and I highly recommend Sunrise Guest House for families looking for comfort, safety, and great value.
Simple Hotel
We stayed at this charming little hotel in central Sochi during late July 2023, and it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect—just a 15-minute walk to the beach and within easy reach of major tourist spots, the sea port, and the Dendrarium. Nestled inside a residential building with only five rooms, the hotel feels intimate and cozy. While there's no private parking, there’s a huge free parking lot right next door with plenty of spaces—no hassle at all when arriving with a car. Our standard double room was beautifully renovated: sleek lighting with multiple settings, convenient switches, air conditioning, a fridge, and a large smart TV with Android TV (YouTube and more). The bathroom featured a modern hygienic shower and a well-designed shower stall with excellent plumbing. One small suggestion: adding a microwave would be a great upgrade, as the snack area has a commercial coffee machine but no microwave for heating food. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. We’d definitely stay here again.

Staying at Svetlana Health Resort was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for—especially when we arrived late for breakfast, they kindly arranged a complimentary meal at the end of our stay. Mirit Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Sochi, just a 7-minute leisurely walk from Mayak Beach—ideal for those who love convenience. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, though a minor cosmetic refresh would make them even more impressive. The staff truly stood out: the front desk agent was incredibly helpful with setting up Wi-Fi, and the security guard went above and beyond by assisting us with a taxi. Breakfast was outstanding—fresh, abundant, and delicious. It’s clear this hotel values guest experience. With its central location, warm hospitality, and excellent breakfast, Mirit Hotel is a top choice. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to fellow travelers.
Sonata Hotel
We stayed at Sonata Hotel in August 2024, and while the cleanliness was excellent—with daily housekeeping—it was disappointing to experience such poor service upon arrival. The hotel is very close to the beach and just a short walk from the electric train station, making it convenient for exploring Sochi. However, when we arrived early and had already coordinated with the front desk, the security guard refused to let us in and even tried to escort us out with our child. It felt extremely unwelcoming, especially after paying extra for early check-in. The manager who eventually arrived didn’t offer any apology, which left us feeling upset and frustrated. Our mood remained low throughout the stay, despite the clean rooms and pleasant seaside walks that helped lift spirits. To our dismay, the same unfriendly staff member was there again during check-out, repeating the same cold attitude. While the location and cleanliness were positives, the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy made the experience unpleasant. We won’t be returning—no matter how free the offer. For the price, guests deserve better than being treated like intruders.

The attention to detail and warm hospitality made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sochi—it’s a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and great value. Staying at Sochi VIP House was an absolute delight! The host was incredibly welcoming—helped carry our luggage to the room and even allowed us to check in early despite the room not being ready yet. We were able to rest after a long journey, which was such a relief. The room itself was cozy, spotlessly clean, and full of warmth. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right next to the theater and museum, perfect for exploring on foot. Just a short walk away is a fantastic restaurant called «Baran Rapant»—the food was delicious, the service friendly, and the atmosphere really inviting. Everything about this place felt authentic and well cared for. If you're visiting Sochi, this is definitely a top choice. Highly recommend!

Staying at Metropol Apartments for the second time was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short 10-minute walk to the beach and close to everything downtown Sochi has to offer. Our apartment on the 16th floor had breathtaking views of the Black Sea and the Denar Garden, making every morning and evening truly special. The 17th-floor amenities are impressive: a sparkling pool, a stylish photo zone, and cozy relaxation areas—all with stunning panoramic views. The modern interior is well-designed and fully equipped, offering comfort and convenience throughout. The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality, making us feel right at home. It’s clear they care about guest experience. I’d highly recommend this place—definitely planning to return soon!
