There was clear zoning, making it easy to unpack two large suitcases without any hassle. I especially appreciated the complimentary sparkling water—a small touch that made a big difference. The rooftop restaurant on the 8th floor offers breathtaking views and an unforgettable dining experience. Breakfast was a highlight—slow and relaxing, with a dedicated barista crafting fresh coffee right in front of you. And don’t miss the Michelin-recommended restaurant on the ground floor—the fried veal cutlet was incredible—crispy on the outside, tender inside. We stayed five nights and couldn’t imagine leaving. That said, the bed was quite uncomfortable—too high and too firm—which made sleeping a bit of a challenge. A mattress topper might help if you’re sensitive to firmness. Despite that small downside, the unbeatable location and overall cleanliness make this a top choice for travelers who value convenience and comfort. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Vienna.

The room was warm and comfortable, thanks to real radiators instead of just central air conditioning. With temperatures dropping to around 10°C in October, many hotels still rely on cold air systems, but here you actually feel cozy. It’s rare to find such attention to comfort and hospitality. Everything about this stay was exceptional—from the location to the service to the little personal touches. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to any traveler visiting Vienna. A top-tier choice.

Hotel Josefshof am Rathaus

The hotel was warm and comfortable, with a great location just minutes from the city center. It’s a bit far from the airport, and the nearest subway station isn’t super close—dragging luggage around wasn’t ideal. However, the real concern came from the complimentary cookies provided in the room. My child ate one and had a sudden allergic reaction, which led us to rush to the hospital. To our surprise, there was no ingredient labeling on the cookie at all—this is a serious safety issue. I strongly recommend the hotel improve food transparency and clearly label all items served to guests. While the overall experience was positive, this incident was deeply worrying and could have been avoided. Safety and clear information should be top priorities.
