Casa Verde Río
A true sanctuary of peace and nature! We spent three wonderful weeks in Rio de Janeiro with our family, and were warmly welcomed by Mauricio and Stuart at Casa Verde. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering breathtaking views—morning ocean vistas and afternoon glimpses into the lush forest. Breakfast was delicious and the travel tips and guided tours they shared were incredibly helpful in planning our trip. Mauricio and Stuart are genuinely kind, welcoming hosts who love connecting with guests. Their hospitality made our stay in Rio even more memorable. Thank you for such a special experience in this beautiful country—we’ll definitely be back!
Promenade Palladium Leblon
Staying at Promenade Palladium Leblon was an absolute delight. Just a 100-meter walk from the beach, I woke up to ocean views every morning—perfect for early strolls along the shore. The neighborhood is vibrant and safe, with countless restaurants within walking distance, making dining out easy and enjoyable. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, featuring a separate living area that made the space feel luxurious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent—fresh, diverse, and delicious. It’s rare to find such a great mix of location, comfort, and quality. I’m already planning my next trip back. If you’re looking for a relaxing, stylish stay in Rio with everything you need right at your doorstep, this is it.
Ipanema Inn Hotel
Staying at Ipanema Inn was a great experience overall, especially given its prime location just across the street from Ipanema Beach—walking to the sand is effortless. The free beach towels and chairs are a nice touch, making beach days even more convenient. The on-site restaurant delivers solid food quality with a welcoming vibe. While the room is compact, it’s clean and well-maintained. That said, the street noise can be intense, especially with ongoing construction nearby—something to consider if you’re sensitive to sound. The air conditioning drips water, and the shower setup isn’t the most user-friendly. The bed was also quite firm, which might not suit everyone. However, the highlight of our stay was the rooftop spa at their sister property in Arpoador. We had an incredible massage there—relaxing, professional, and worth every minute. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our three-night stay and would definitely return for the location and the exceptional spa experience.
Mar Ipanema Hotel
Staying at Mar Ipanema Hotel was an absolute pleasure. Located in a prime spot just steps away from Ipanema Beach, everything you’d want—main beaches, restaurants, and attractions—is within easy walking distance. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, thanks to the friendly and efficient front desk team. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a cozy bed, fresh linens, and high-quality toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Clean towels and a well-stocked minibar (with water, soft drinks, beer, and chocolate) added to the convenience. Breakfast was included in my booking and offered a delicious taste of local Brazilian flavors—especially the cheese bread, which was fresh and flavorful. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. For the location, comfort, service, and value, this hotel truly earns every bit of its excellent rating. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a reliable, authentic Rio experience.

Staying at Hotel Vermont Ipanema was an absolute delight. Located just a short walk from two metro stops in the heart of Ipanema, it’s only a 5-minute stroll to the beach—perfect for morning swims and sunset views. The neighborhood is quiet, well-lit, and feels safe even at night. My room was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh gluten-free bread, a delicious pastry, plus eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, juices, and coffee. It felt like a little treat every morning. This hotel offers incredible value and a welcoming vibe. I’ll definitely be back.

Stayed at Ritz Leblon and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff, especially Carlos and Juliana, were exceptional—warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile. The breakfast servers and housekeeping team were equally impressive, making every interaction a pleasure. Breakfast itself was delicious and well-rounded, with fresh, high-quality options. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness was spotless—truly impeccable. The whole experience felt luxurious without being over-the-top. I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Rio—it’s a gem in a great location, close to everything yet peaceful. Definitely a place I’ll return to.

Everything about this place felt thoughtfully designed for travelers who want a relaxed, authentic experience without breaking the bank. It’s rare to find such a high-quality stay at this price point. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rio—I’ll definitely be coming back!
Casa Caminho do Corcovado - Pet Friendly
We had an absolutely incredible weekend at Casa Caminho do Corcovado—truly a gem in Rio! The view from the property is breathtaking, whether you're enjoying it during the day or under the stars at night. Our cabin was spotless, cozy, and offered complete privacy—perfect for unwinding. The bedding and towels were high-quality and fresh-smelling, adding to the comfort. Breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruits, warm bread, cheeses, eggs, cakes, and more—all made with care and served with a smile. It felt like being welcomed into a home rather than staying at a hotel. Huge thanks to Helena and Diogo for such warm hospitality—they made us feel right at home. This place truly stands out, and I can't wait to come back.
Solar do Cosme
Unfortunately, my experience was quite negative due to the lack of signage and lighting in the backyard, making the area extremely unsafe for elderly guests and children. I didn’t stay overnight—I only booked a day-use option through the platform for my birthday celebration and that of a close friend. As shown in photo 20, there’s a gap beside the staircase leading down to the yard, which becomes completely invisible at night because there’s no lighting in the area. While descending the stairs, I tripped over the gap and hit my head on a stone, resulting in six stitches above my eyebrow. To clarify—no alcohol was consumed during this incident. This could have easily turned into a much more serious accident. I reported the issue to the couple managing the booking, but they showed no intention to address or fix the hazard. Aside from that, there’s nothing else to comment on since I didn’t actually stay overnight. My only warning to future guests: this property is not recommended for families with young children or older adults due to the significant safety risks.
MC Flats Ipanema Beach Star
