Staying right across from Hongdae Station makes transportation incredibly convenient—trains, buses, and taxis are all just steps away. It's perfectly located in Yeonnam-dong, just steps away from great cafes, restaurants, and local vibes. Easy access to public transit makes exploring Seoul a breeze. OPPA Hostel Sinchon-Hongdae
The host is incredibly friendly and speaks fluent Chinese, English, and Japanese—no language barrier at all! The room was spotless and well-maintained, making the stay super comfortable. Right outside the door is Sinchon Square, and there's a fantastic local restaurant nearby known for its delicious potato stew with beef—so good, you'll want to come back just for the food. The location is perfect: literally steps away from the subway station, so getting around to Hongdae, Myeongdong, or other areas is super convenient. With great service, cleanliness, and unbeatable value, this hostel deserves every bit of its 10/10 rating. I’ll definitely be returning if I ever come back to Seoul!

I had an amazing stay at this cozy guesthouse! The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept like a baby all night. Great touch having both Korean and English signage around, making it super welcoming for international travelers. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a microwave, toaster, kettle, and water dispenser—perfect for brewing coffee or whipping up a quick meal. It felt just like being at home, but with a much better vibe. Plus, the location is fantastic—close to subway lines and walking distance to many attractions. I’d definitely come back again. While the entrance from level 1 gives off an old-school vibe, the inside of the house is clean, well-maintained, and feels cozy. Overall, it’s a solid choice for travelers who value convenience, comfort, and a good balance between price and quality in a vibrant neighborhood.

I’ll admit, I was initially worried about the bathroom cleanliness, but I couldn’t have been more wrong—the space was spotless, meticulously cleaned daily with no traces of grime or water stains. The complimentary breakfast items were a real highlight: fresh croissants and snacks that tasted great. The ciabatta bread provided on the first two mornings was absolutely delicious—light, airy, and perfect with coffee. It’s a bit disappointing that it switched to doughnuts on the final day, though they were still tasty. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way—cleanliness, service, value, and atmosphere. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
Eungam Maple
My stay at Eungam Maple in Seoul was somewhat disappointing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, but the main issue was that only Korean was spoken throughout the property—there was no English support, which made communication difficult for non-Korean speakers. The room itself was quite small, and there wasn’t enough space to even open up a suitcase comfortably. While the team was kind and attentive, the lack of multilingual service and cramped layout made the experience less than ideal. Given these drawbacks, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again, especially when there are other more traveler-friendly options available in the city.

I was a bit skeptical at first since the price seemed too good compared to nearby motels, but I'm so glad I gave it a try.
