I was truly impressed by Irene, who professionally helped me recover my forgotten Moncler vest with ease. The room cleaning and amenities were top-notch—always fresh, well-stocked, and meticulously maintained. Every detail reflects genuine care and attention. This experience exceeded all expectations. If you're visiting Seoul, this is definitely my top recommendation. I’ll be back, and I’m already telling friends about it!
Kensington Hotel Yeouido
Staying at Kensington Hotel Yeouido was a perfect choice for my trip to Seoul, especially since I was attending a concert at Gocheok Dome. The hotel offers a direct shuttle from the airport, and public transportation—including subway stations and bus stops—is just steps away, making travel incredibly convenient. The nearby Hyundai Department Store, along with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores, made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. Best of all, the hotel overlooks the Han River—waking up to that view and taking a morning jog in the adjacent park was one of the highlights. Though some facilities feel a bit dated, the overall experience was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and offered complimentary luggage storage, which came in handy. Room service was attentive and thoughtful. Despite minor wear, the location, comfort, and hospitality make this hotel a great value—definitely a place I’d return to.

Everything you need is within walking distance, making it ideal for exploring the neighborhood. One minor downside: the hotel’s GPS location can be tricky to pinpoint. We found that moving around the L-level near the front desk helped improve the signal. The staff are mostly young, but they’re friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Breakfast could use some improvement—it’s quite limited in variety, offering only a few basic options. A bit more diversity would go a long way. Still, considering the location, service, and value, this is a solid choice for travelers looking for a convenient and reliable base in Seoul.

Nearby, you’ll find Olive Young and E-Mart—perfect for grabbing snacks or travel essentials. One thing to note: the bathtub lacks non-slip strips, so be cautious when stepping in. Other than that, everything else is top-notch. Great location, excellent value, and a welcoming vibe—highly recommend this place if you’re looking for comfort and convenience in central Seoul.

Located right in the heart of Hongdae’s bustling district, you’re surrounded by trendy restaurants, cozy bars, unique boutiques, and endless street energy—perfect for night owls and food lovers alike. The design is sleek and modern, with a stylish lobby on the 21st floor featuring self-check-in and check-out, plus smart lockers for luggage. I especially loved the rooftop pool on the 22nd floor—open only in summer, but what a treat to enjoy it under the sun or during golden hour. The room was spacious, chic, and thoughtfully equipped, including a welcome drink and snacks—small touches that made the stay feel special. With its prime location, cool aesthetic, and excellent value, this hotel offers more than just a place to sleep. It’s an experience. Definitely coming back.

Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just a 2-3 minute walk from Hongdae Station, right in the heart of the bustling Hongdae pedestrian street. Every evening we explored the area, sampling endless street food and local favorites. There’s so much to eat and discover, we barely scratched the surface. With great service, an unbeatable location, and a vibrant neighborhood, this stay exceeded all expectations. I’d definitely book here again—highly recommend!

I’ll admit, I was initially worried about the bathroom cleanliness, but I couldn’t have been more wrong—the space was spotless, meticulously cleaned daily with no traces of grime or water stains. The complimentary breakfast items were a real highlight: fresh croissants and snacks that tasted great. The ciabatta bread provided on the first two mornings was absolutely delicious—light, airy, and perfect with coffee. It’s a bit disappointing that it switched to doughnuts on the final day, though they were still tasty. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way—cleanliness, service, value, and atmosphere. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

My stay at Eungam Maple in Seoul was somewhat disappointing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, but the main issue was that only Korean was spoken throughout the property—there was no English support, which made communication difficult for non-Korean speakers. The room itself was quite small, and there wasn’t enough space to even open up a suitcase comfortably. While the team was kind and attentive, the lack of multilingual service and cramped layout made the experience less than ideal. Given these drawbacks, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again, especially when there are other more traveler-friendly options available in the city.
