Kensington Hotel Yeouido
Staying at Kensington Hotel Yeouido was a perfect choice for my trip to Seoul, especially since I was attending a concert at Gocheok Dome. The hotel offers a direct shuttle from the airport, and public transportation—including subway stations and bus stops—is just steps away, making travel incredibly convenient. The nearby Hyundai Department Store, along with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores, made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. Best of all, the hotel overlooks the Han River—waking up to that view and taking a morning jog in the adjacent park was one of the highlights. Though some facilities feel a bit dated, the overall experience was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and offered complimentary luggage storage, which came in handy. Room service was attentive and thoughtful. Despite minor wear, the location, comfort, and hospitality make this hotel a great value—definitely a place I’d return to.
Holiday Inn Express Seoul Hongdae
Staying at Holiday Inn Express Seoul Hongdae was an absolute delight. The hotel is perfectly located right above Hongdae Station, and the building even has a convenient shopping mall on-site—perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials without having to go far. It's just a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of Hongdae’s vibrant district, making it easy to explore local shops, cafes, and late-night spots. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their friendly attitude really added to the overall experience. If you're looking for a great base in Seoul with excellent transit access, a lively neighborhood, and reliable service, this hotel delivers everything you’d want. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to stay here again.
Local Stitch Creator Town Seogyo
Staying at Local Stitch Creator Town Seogyo was an absolute surprise and one of the highlights of our trip to Seoul. The location is incredibly convenient—just a 2-minute walk to a 7-Eleven, 8 minutes to a 24-hour café, 10 minutes to the subway (Green Line), 15 minutes to Hongdae, and just 20 minutes to Sinchon on foot. The room itself is compact but well-designed with excellent water pressure and smooth drainage. The bathtub was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Towels, tissues, and bottled water are available for free at the lounge—great for refills. The lounge area is huge and packed with amenities: self-service washing machines, dryers, even a dry cleaner! Every seating area has plenty of power outlets—so thoughtful. There’s also a large gym perfect for fitness lovers, and two spacious kitchens where you can cook or heat up meals. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke fluent English, making check-in and any requests super easy. This place offers such great value and comfort—it truly exceeded expectations. I took some photos during my stay, though I forgot that uploads are only allowed through the platform. Still, I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Seoul.

I finally got around to writing this review after returning from Seoul—my first visit to the city, and I’m so glad I stayed at Let’s Stay Hostel! The price was super reasonable for what you get, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is fantastic—right next to a convenience store, just a short walk to the subway station, and surrounded by great local eateries. I ended up going back to one of the nearby BBQ restaurants twice because it was that good—authentic flavor and generous portions. The dorm room was for two people: not huge, but perfectly sized and cozy. We were responsible for changing our own towels and taking out the trash, which might sound like a small thing, but it actually added to the homely, self-sufficient vibe. It felt more personal than staying in a big hotel. Overall, this place offered comfort, convenience, and charm at a great value. If I ever come back to Seoul, this will definitely be my go-to choice. Highly recommended!

This is hands down the best hotel I've stayed at in Seoul. The location is perfect—right next to the subway, with everything within walking distance: cafes, convenience stores, restaurants, and more. The room was spotless, simple, and very well-organized, making it feel cozy and relaxing. I loved the free coffee available all day—perfect for early risers like me. The breakfast was basic but satisfying, just enough to start the day right. And let’s talk about the free laundry machines and dryer—such a game-changer when traveling for days on end. No need to worry about dirty clothes anymore. I truly enjoyed every moment here and would absolutely come back on my next trip to Seoul. Highly recommend!

It’s rare to see such attention to hygiene, and it really made me feel confident and comfortable. The level of care goes beyond expectations. For the price, this place offers incredible value. Definitely coming back if I visit Seoul again.

The complimentary breakfast items were a real highlight: fresh croissants and snacks that tasted great. The ciabatta bread provided on the first two mornings was absolutely delicious—light, airy, and perfect with coffee. It’s a bit disappointing that it switched to doughnuts on the final day, though they were still tasty. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way—cleanliness, service, value, and atmosphere. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

My stay at Eungam Maple in Seoul was somewhat disappointing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, but the main issue was that only Korean was spoken throughout the property—there was no English support, which made communication difficult for non-Korean speakers. The room itself was quite small, and there wasn’t enough space to even open up a suitcase comfortably. While the team was kind and attentive, the lack of multilingual service and cramped layout made the experience less than ideal. Given these drawbacks, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again, especially when there are other more traveler-friendly options available in the city.

I was a bit skeptical at first since the price seemed too good compared to nearby motels, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. The cleanliness blew me away—every corner was spotless, from the bedding to the bathroom fixtures. It felt genuinely fresh and well-maintained. I'll definitely choose this place over any other option when visiting Bulgwang again. Super clean, great value, and totally worth it.
